She is a laid back girl who is happy to lay out back or post up on a couch in the sunlight all day long. Maggie is quite the hunter and mouser so if you have a mouse issue and are not interested in owning a cat Maggie, will handle the mice for you. She walks perfectly on a leash and says hi well to other dogs. She is however dog selective within her own house and would do best with a confident dog or another dog who is also laid back. Maggie is a people dog. She loves every person she meets and knows no strangers. She is fully house broken and has no interest in chewing anything up. She is 8 and she is truly a mixed breed. We have no idea mix of what, but we have been told by the vet and trainer she is likely a cattle dog mixed with a hound. When she came into rescue, she was in heat and was spayed right away. She does great with structure and routine. Molly sleeps inside a kennel overnight with no accidents, uses a dog door confidently, and is kenneled next to another dog. While they may bark at each other at times, there is no aggression. Because of her youthful energy and Australian Kelpie breed traits.
