She adores playing with doggy pals, is house-trained and crate-trained, and has a fantastic high-energy fun, yet sometimes calm, snuggly spirit. She’d thrive with a fenced yard for plenty of fetch and an active family who wants a loyal adventure buddy. Story
Black Jack is a 3‑year‑old, 56‑pound Blue Heeler who has quickly become one of the friendliest, most affectionate dogs we’ve ever met. From the moment he arrived, he made it clear that people are his whole world. Every volunteer he meets becomes his instant best friend, and he soaks up attention like he’s been waiting his entire life for it. He is incredibly sweet, gentle, and eager for affection. Whether it’s leaning in for pets, wagging his whole body the moment someone looks his way, or greeting every new person with bright eyes and a soft heart, Black Jack has shown over and over that he loves people. Truly loves them. While his past wasn’t filled with the companionship he deserved, Black Jack’s personality shines as if he’s been loved every day. He embodies resilience, warmth, and gratitude. Give him a kind word or a gentle touch, and he lights up instantly. Black Jack is ready for a home that will give him what he’s always wanted—love, attention, and someone to call his person. If you’re looking for a dog who will return your affection tenfold and greet you every day like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to him, Black Jack is your boy. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, 4dx tested. If you are serious about adoption, please fill out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com His adoption fee is $500. Story
Springs is a 3‑year‑old, 36‑pound Blue Heeler with a heart every bit as bright and loving as his name suggests. From the moment he arrived, Springs has charmed every volunteer he’s met with his sweetness and joyful spirit. He’s the kind of dog who makes you feel special just by walking into the room—gentle eyes, a happy wiggle, and a softness that wins people over instantly. Like his buddy BlackJack, Springs is wonderfully friendly and eager for human connection. He leans in for affection, soaks up attention with gratitude, and seems genuinely delighted to meet new people. He has a calm, kind energy woven together with the natural alertness of a heeler, making him both attentive and affectionate. Springs thrives on companionship and will be happiest in a home where he can be part of his person’s daily life—whether that’s enjoying quiet time together, trotting along on walks, or simply being someone’s steady, loving shadow. He’s gentle, friendly, and deeply people‑oriented, ready to bond with someone who will cherish him. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who radiates warmth and tenderness, Springs is more than ready to jump into your life and your heart. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, 4dx tested. Story
COURTESY POST:  Maggie is a sweet dog who loves spending her days lounging around or going for short walks. She is a laid back girl who is happy to lay out back or post up on a couch in the sunlight all day long. Maggie is quite the hunter and mouser so if you have a mouse issue and are not interested in owning a cat Maggie, will handle the mice for you.   She walks perfectly on a leash and says hi well to other dogs. She is however dog selective within her own house and would do best with a confident dog or another dog who is also laid back.   Maggie is a people dog. She loves every person she meets and knows no strangers. She is fully house broken and has no interest in chewing anything up.   She is 8 and she is truly a mixed breed. We have no idea mix of what, but we have been told by the vet and trainer she is likely a cattle dog mixed with a hound.   If you are interested in Maggie please contact Haley at 6103315394 (tel:6103315394) .March 6, 2025, 10:24 am

Story
Meet Scout: Australian Cattle Dog Mix | High Energy | People Lover Scout is an amazing dog who deserves an active home where he can thrive. He's smart, affectionate, and has never shown aggression toward people; just the opposite. He loves to snuggle, play fetch, chase frisbees, and would be perfect for hiking and outdoor adventures. Why we're rehoming: Scout has resource-guarded food around our other dog a few times (never breaking skin, but concerning with young kids around). His constant high energy has also impacted our older dog's quality of life. Scout adores his brother, but Copper just wants peace. What Scout needs: An active owner who can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He'd do best as an only dog or with a high-energy playmate. He's the type of dog you can take everywhere! 15-20 years ago, he would've been my dream dog. Scout is loyal, loving, and ready to be someone's perfect adventure partner. With the right home, he'll be absolutely incredible!

Story
Meet Cash, a senior Cattle Dog mix with a calm, steady presence that instantly puts everyone at ease. This easygoing gentleman has perfected the art of laid-back living—he’s quiet, gentle, and happiest just being part of the rhythm of your day. Cash enjoys his daily walks and loves spending time outside taking in all the sights and smells. He can be a little stubborn when his nose leads the way, but it only adds to his charm. Inside the house, Cash most loves spending time with his people snuggled up on the couch, getting as much love as he can get. Cash thinks he's a lap dog, but again, that only adds to his charming personality! He’s wonderful with other dogs, completely housetrained, and comfortable in a crate. If you’re looking for a mellow companion who’s content to stroll by your side, relax at your side, and bring a peaceful kind of joy into your home, Cash is your guy. Cash is heartworm positive, but please do not let that scare you away from giving him a loving home. We provide guidance and his medications will travel with him to his forever home. Cash is fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania and will be able to join a family on or after 12/6/25. www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz Cash is in our Meet Me Program: Dogs featured in our Meet Me Program are participating simply because their foster or a dedicated volunteer is willing and able to take part—this is not based on breed, personality, behavior, or how long a dog has been waiting for a home. Because Mostly Muttz Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about daily life with the dog, and even schedule an individual meet & greet at an approved location—either before applying or while your application is pending. To get started, email meet_me@mostlymuttz.org with your contact information, and the dog’s foster or volunteer will be in touch.
