Story
Hiya, I'm Link! A young boy like me is always ready for adventure, however I am looking for a partner that can take me through the serious training that I'll need in order to be adventure ready. As I was a stray, I can be a bit nervous with new people and I will let you know it. I'm not a fan of sharing my items and I'm picky with my dog friends too, although I may be good with the right one. I enjoy chin scratches and resting with my friends, but I don't enjoy cuddles. I'm looking for a home where all household residents are over 15, as I'm really looking for a family that is dedicated to making sure I succeed in my adventures. If you're interested in devoting time to have the best partner around, please stop by the shelter to meet me. ---This animal is available by appointment only. Please reach out to schedule a visit with one of his handlers!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Roy is a 5 year old sweetheart, a total cuddle bug. He and his sister Yaz are very friendly laid-back dogs born and raised in Texas. He is very smart and eager to please. He will make an excellent companion to any household. He loves to play outside and fetch. He walks well on a leash and has good manners. He was turned over to our rescue partners because his 50 year old owner passed away suddenly from an undiagnosed heart condition. Roy is heartworm positive and has started treatment. His sister Yaz has been adopted. Thank you for your interest in rescue. If you would like to be considered for adoption please submit an application to adopt. APPLICATION TO ADOPT: https://form.jotform.com/240606049335150      If you have any questions regarding the adoption process please email:  dianespets1486@gmail.com May 8, 2024, 5:49 pm

Story
Sadly need to rehome Dixie our 6 year old cattle dog. We have had her for 2 years but due to recent circumstances she needs to be the only dog in the home and unfortunately we have 3 other dogs and she wants to be the dominant female. She is fine around other dogs she just can but cannot live with them permanently due to hierarchy issues. Dixie is the most loving, loyal, smart, silly and obedient girl. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Dixie knows basic commands and is house trained trained, even knows how to spin and speak. Walks well on and off leash. She would prefer an active lifestyle or farm. Dixie gets along with kids and cats. This decision was not made lightly but our home is not the ideal situation for her any longer. We would like to stay in touch with her new owners. Located in Exton, PA

Story
Dexter is a sweetheart with a heart of gold and a playful spirit to match. He's the perfect blend of smart, loyal, and affectionate, making him an ideal addition to any loving family. Dexter is a social butterfly who effortlessly bonds with other dogs and is particularly kind to smaller dogs, such as his Chihuahua friend he is in foster with. During a lively play session, Dexter knows to adapt his energy to suit his friends' needs. His cherished giraffe and ducky toys are never far from his side, providing him with comfort and entertainment. When it comes to treats, Dexter has refined taste, with a genuine fondness for chicken jerky. With his gentle demeanor and delicate touch, he's a pro at gracefully accepting his favorite snacks. Dexter’s foster has been diligently training Dexter to sit when going in and out of doors, and now it's become second nature to him. He has also mastered basic commands and even understands “get your ball” - making playtime a breeze. After playtime, Dexter's adorable habit of trying to conceal his tennis ball is just too cute to miss. Watching him delicately nudge blades of grass over it with his nose is truly heartwarming.  Dexter really craves love and companionship. He's eager to settle into a furever home and be a part of a forever family who will cherish him as much as he cherishes them. We believe the family who adopts Dexter will truly be so very lucky - he’s such a good boy! www.mostlymuttz.org Crate Trained House Trained Does not require a fenced yard Great with dogs of all sizes, children Cats unknown Dexter will be able to be adopted on/after 4/28/24  Dexter is being fostered in Gilbertsville, (Montgomery County) Pennsylvania  #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptdontshop #adoptabledogs #adoptme #perfectboy #HappyGoLucky #tennisballaddict #pawfection ##1986692##
