Story
Dexter is a sweetheart with a heart of gold and a playful spirit to match. He's the perfect blend of smart, loyal, and affectionate, making him an ideal addition to any loving family. Dexter is a social butterfly who effortlessly bonds with other dogs and is particularly kind to smaller dogs, such as his Chihuahua friend he is in foster with. During a lively play session, Dexter knows to adapt his energy to suit his friends' needs. His cherished giraffe and ducky toys are never far from his side, providing him with comfort and entertainment. When it comes to treats, Dexter has refined taste, with a genuine fondness for chicken jerky. With his gentle demeanor and delicate touch, he's a pro at gracefully accepting his favorite snacks. Dexter’s foster has been diligently training Dexter to sit when going in and out of doors, and now it's become second nature to him. He has also mastered basic commands and even understands “get your ball” - making playtime a breeze. After playtime, Dexter's adorable habit of trying to conceal his tennis ball is just too cute to miss. Watching him delicately nudge blades of grass over it with his nose is truly heartwarming.  Dexter really craves love and companionship. He's eager to settle into a furever home and be a part of a forever family who will cherish him as much as he cherishes them. We believe the family who adopts Dexter will truly be so very lucky - he’s such a good boy! www.mostlymuttz.org Crate Trained House Trained Does not require a fenced yard Great with dogs of all sizes, children Cats unknown Dexter will be able to be adopted on/after 4/28/24  Dexter is being fostered in Gilbertsville, (Montgomery County) Pennsylvania  #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptdontshop #adoptabledogs #adoptme #perfectboy #HappyGoLucky #tennisballaddict #pawfection ##1986692##

KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 O'Crowley was adopted from Diane's in May 2023 and returned because the resident cats are not handling his happy-go-lucky, personality. The cats have basically decided that either O’Crowley goes or they will continue to not use their litterbox. This poor guy spent the first week crying and in total disbelief that he was no longer in his home. It was truly heartbreaking for staff and volunteers. He was introduced to some of the other young dogs at Diane’s and is enjoying his is exercise time. If you're looking for an energetic, highly intelligent fine young lad to accompany you for every adventure you've got planned, this is the guy for you!  O’Crowley began his life in Bluff City, TN. At the young age of 5 weeks old he was viciously attacked by an adult pit bull. He suffered a skull fracture and trauma to his left eye and sinus area. He healed well from these injuries with only blindness in his left eye. A consultation with a veterinary ophthalmologist said that he was able to save the eye but at some point in the distant future he may need the eye removed. O’Crowley was sent to Diane’s Adoption Center in PA where he found a loving home. He graduated magna cum laude from the school of, What a Good Dog in Malvern with a degree in canine obedience. O’Crowley loves learning tricks like dancing on command and shaking hands. He has a great sense of humor and enjoys chasing cats and playing with other dogs. The dogs love his fun energy, cats not so much.  Thank you for your interest in rescue. Story
Meet Zane, a true embodiment of his name. This pure red red heeler was surrendered by his owner at just 8 months old due to his strong desire to chase cows in the pasture. With a bloodline deeply rooted in the working cattle dog tradition, Zane was born to nip those cows into line. However, he's thankfully moved past the heel-nipping phase of his life and is now focused on enjoying playtime, love, and affection. Zane's intelligence shines through as he quickly learned to potty outside in less than two weeks. His ultimate dream is to live out his days on a ranch or small farm, working alongside his human companions during the day and then unwinding with cuddles and relaxation in the evening. Still young and incredibly smart, Zane is eager to continue learning and being trained. Zane is already kennel trained, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, making him the perfect addition to any loving home that can offer him the active lifestyle and companionship he craves. Are you ready to welcome Zane into your heart and home, where he can fulfill his destiny as a loyal working companion and beloved family member?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 11, 2024, 9:49 pm

Story
This is a Courtesy Post. Molly is a beautiful Stumpy Tail Australian Cattle dog. She weighs about 35 lbs and is just 4 yrs old. She has been with her foster family for about a year now after coming up from Alabama and delivering her puppies on the transport! Molly has received some professional training due to her anxiety and herding/chasing instincts. Being a herding dog, she is very intelligent and has a great desire to learn new things. Slow introductions to new people help Molly to understand there is nothing to fear. We are in search of special adopter who wants to understand their dog and help them be the best friend they can be. A fenced yard is required and there can be not cats or small children. Molly likes other dogs but does best with non-dominant male dogs. She loves to play and would make a great agilities dog. She is truly one of a kind and will make a wonderful companion to the right adopter. Molly is spayed, up to date on core vaccines and microchipped. Please complete an application on our website. www.tinymiraclespcr.org
