He came from a high volume shelter and is now looking for a warm and cozy home to retire in. He is dog, kid and cat friendly. All dogs typically show on Saturdays at the Petco in Clear Lake as well. 2410 Bay Area Blvd near Space Center. Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies). All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. Since all our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. Norman is about 3 years old, he loves attention and is very loving. As a cattle dog, his herding and prey drive is very strong, and while he has not hurt my cats, my cats avoid him at all costs because he always chases them and gets in their space. I have tried training him, but have very limited time. When he gets a lot of outdoor time he leaves the cats alone more. He does have very bad anxiety and doesnt always know how to control it or show it. Ive learned that when he is getting overwhelmed in a situation it is best to redirect his attention to avoid an unknown reaction. He does have to get the heartworm shot as he is allergic to the pills, and has previously tested positive for heartworm. I took him in from my parents who were unable to manage his level of anxiety and unknown reactions, he has bitten people in the past due to being overly anxious, but I have had him since February, there have been no incidents. I would like to find someone who has a nice large yard.

Meet Knievel ??Knievel is a gorgeous eight month old pup. The shelter had them listed as a shepherd but he is much much smaller only about 35 pounds so we're guessing cattle dog maybe shepherd mix. Regardless he has a gorgeous coat and beautiful eyes. He came to us with broken bones, but now he's all healed up. You can't even tell that he had an injury.
