Story
Meet Wyatt, an approximately 2 year old red heeler mix! This sweet boy made the trip from a shelter in Oklahoma to Wisconsin where he is currently being fostered in Sheboygan. He is looking for a second chance on life with his FurEver family! Wyatt absolutely loves people, although he seems best around older children. He will snuggle up on your lap and enjoy all the pets and attention you have to give. Wyatt has enjoyed some extra treats in his past and is a little chunky, so he has all the more love to give but he is working on developing healthier eating habits and really enjoying getting out and moving! He would make the perfect walking buddy and is doing great on a harness. He loves to play fetch and does great at retrieving toys! He has lots of energy to burn so being active is a must! And after a play session he doesn't mind spending time relaxing in the crate and does well sleeping at night in the crate, too! Wyatt gets along well with female dogs but in typical heeler fashion he does like to corral and use his natural heeler instincts. He may do best in a home as the only pup where he can enjoy all that one on one attention.   If you are looking for a loyal companion that has so much love to give, Wyatt is your guy!   Apply today!  ##1756329##

YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.hoovershausealldogrescue.com EVERY DOG IS UP TO DATE ON VACCINES FOR THEIR AGE.                                           RABIES VACCINE IF OLD ENOUGH.  SPAYED OR NEUTERED (regardless of age) NO EXCEPTIONS HEARTWORM and FLEA/TICK PREVENTATIVE MICROCHIPPED CERTIFIED VETERINARIAN INSPECTION CERTIFICATE ***WE ARE NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC*** ADOPTIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! Rozzlo is a 1 year old, Red Heeler and Shepherd mix  Rozzlo and his litter mates were surrendered to the shelter at just 1 month old. He spent 2.5 months in the shelter, until his foster mom came in one day to pick out a new foster pup before Christmas! He has been with his foster mom for quite some time now because he requires an extra special someone to spend his life with.  He has a typical goofy puppy personality. He’s about 55 pounds and is great for someone looking for a dog that’s about the average size of a heeler. He loves his toys and tug of war is his favorite game. He enjoys a good game of chuck, too. Due to his breed mixture, he is extremely smart and learns most things quickly. He is kennel trained, potty trained, basic obedience trained, he rides well in the car (in his kennel), he walks well on leash, and loves to cuddles. He is not allowed on all of the furniture, so he does have an understanding of house rules. He tolerates baths, but is amazing at getting his nails done, teeth brushing, and fur brushing! He is very funny, loves to rough house with his people, and loves to talk.  He will require some form of daily exercise and training to keep him balanced and fulfilled. However, he does not require an unmanageable amount.  Rozzlo is looking for a very special person or family. This person must understand dog behavior and be willing to take on the responsibility of a dog who will need special care & training to thrive. Due to being dropped at the shelter so young and his genetic make-up, Rozzlo has some sass. He needs to be the only pet and the only child, for the rest of his life. He loves his adult humans, but needs to have someone that won’t force him to try to “make friends” with everyone. He’s pretty shy and doesn’t really trust strangers. As long as his person advocates for him and his space, he does fine out and about.  As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. MY ADOPTION FEE is $125.00 and I am only available in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area We thank you for ADOPTING A HOOVERS HAUSE RESCUE DOG..... every dog adopted allows us to open our homes to save another! Story
Barley is a 4 year old rescue with lots of energy, both physical and mental. He has always been very attached to his female owner which has created increasing anxiety over the years because he is very protective. He loves other dogs and would do great in a home without kids, since he has shown increasing negative behavior towards our two children. We absolutely love this dog, but can’t risk a negative interaction getting out of hand.
