Posie, female, 9mo old Mini Heeler mix, weighs 27lbs Posie was a lost dog found hiding under a car at a Walmart parking lot in Kenosha. We were able to track down the owners, however they were not interested in wanting her back. We were shocked as she is so well behaved and sweet as cherry pie. Posie has been a joy and gets along great with the other dogs. She was with kids in her previous home so she does like attention from young ones and is very content to sleep in her crate when she wants some quiet time. She loves to go for walks and we are working on her leash manners as she does have a tendency to want to pull. She is completely house broken and knows her house manners. All she wants right now is to have a family to love again!   We are located at S47 W30760 State Road 59, North Prairie, WI As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. MY ADOPTION FEE is $475.00 We thank you for ADOPTING A HOOVERS HAUSE RESCUE DOG..... every dog adopted allows us to open our homes to save another! WI DATCP license number 468162May 5, 2025, 8:53 am

1 year old (estimated) Spayed female 41 lbs. Has done well with other dogs at the shelter No known experience with cats or children More information coming soon! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.May 10, 2025, 12:25 pm

Story
Meet Wyatt This adorable 8-month-old pup is a total sweetheart and loves being around people, especially cuddling up for a cozy movie night. At just 22 lbs, Wyatt is the perfect size for snuggling in your lap. He's great with kids, enjoys playtime at the dog park, and gets along well with other dogs with a proper introduction. Wyatt is a Velcro dog who wants to be by your side always. Although a bit nervous in new surroundings, he's working on building his confidence through desensitization and basic obedience training. Because Wyatt is not a fan of his crate, he would love a mommy or daddy who works from home or is a stay-at-home parent so he doesn’t have to be in his crate for long periods of time. If you're looking for a furry friend who will bring love and laughter into your life, look no further than Wyatt! He can't wait to find his forever home and start his new adventure with you. Please consider giving him a chance today I promise to bring you endless amounts of love, laughter, and puppy kisses! -Wyatt
