Rozzlo is a 1 year old, Red Heeler and Shepherd mix  Rozzlo and his litter mates were surrendered to the shelter at just 1 month old. He spent 2.5 months in the shelter, until his foster mom came in one day to pick out a new foster pup before Christmas! He has been with his foster mom for quite some time now because he requires an extra special someone to spend his life with.  He has a typical goofy puppy personality. He’s about 55 pounds and is great for someone looking for a dog that’s about the average size of a heeler. He loves his toys and tug of war is his favorite game. He enjoys a good game of chuck, too. Due to his breed mixture, he is extremely smart and learns most things quickly. He is kennel trained, potty trained, basic obedience trained, he rides well in the car (in his kennel), he walks well on leash, and loves to cuddles. He is not allowed on all of the furniture, so he does have an understanding of house rules. He tolerates baths, but is amazing at getting his nails done, teeth brushing, and fur brushing! He is very funny, loves to rough house with his people, and loves to talk.  He will require some form of daily exercise and training to keep him balanced and fulfilled. However, he does not require an unmanageable amount.  Rozzlo is looking for a very special person or family. This person must understand dog behavior and be willing to take on the responsibility of a dog who will need special care & training to thrive. Due to being dropped at the shelter so young and his genetic make-up, Rozzlo has some sass. He needs to be the only pet and the only child, for the rest of his life. He loves his adult humans, but needs to have someone that won’t force him to try to “make friends” with everyone. He’s pretty shy and doesn’t really trust strangers. As long as his person advocates for him and his space, he does fine out and about.  As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. MY ADOPTION FEE is $125.00 and I am only available in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area We thank you for ADOPTING A HOOVERS HAUSE RESCUE DOG..... every dog adopted allows us to open our homes to save another! Story
· Intake Reason: surrendered because of owner's healthKnown with:· Cats: lived with 8 yr old female· Dogs: has previously met dogs on neutral territory· Kids: around kids 5 yrs and up, did greatHi there, my name is Dirk. My name has a Dutch origin and means ‘the people's ruler' but I only want to rule your heart. I lived with a wonderful person for most of my life and I was super happy. Unfortunately, my human got sick and could no longer take care of me so I came back to WCHS. Yes, I was adopted as a youngster way back in 2019. In my previous home I was confined to a room when I was alone so I did not have to manage the whole house by myself. When I was a pup, I was comfortable in a crate but have not needed to use one for over 4 years. At night I had the luxury of sleeping in my person's bed and that was grand because we could snuggle all night long. I am an affectionate lad, but at 88 pounds I may be a touch too big for your lap. I know proper potty behavior and learned to whine and run to the door to indicate I needed to use the outside facilities. When I come to my new home it would be wise to give me plenty of opportunities to go outside until we learn each other's signals and routines. I had a fenced yard to play in and that was lovely because I am an active guy who likes to play. I am friendly and intelligent and already know the cues for ‘sit', ‘down' and ‘come'. I must confess that I tend to pull a bit on a leash because I get excited and joyful about exploring all the wonders of nature. I am quite strong so I suppose I should practice walking more politely on a leash. I enjoy car rides and am happy to be your sidekick on any adventure. I love to be with my people and get a smidge anxious when I am separated from them. Here's a fun fact about me - I lived with a macaw for a while and did OK. I am hoping for an active family who is looking for a big hunk of love to share their life. Stop by to meet me in person and I think you will be smitten with my charm.#2

Story
ARRIVING IN WI MAY 17th! Brenda is a beautiful 2 month old mixed breed female. She weighs about 8 pounds. She has gorgeous soft and fluffy gold and white coat. Brenda is a sweet puppy who cannot wait to have a home of her very own in WI. She gets along great with kids and other dogs, but she is a young puppy and will need training to grow up to be the best she can be! Brenda is working hard on her potty training skills in Texas, however she is just a young puppy who is currently in a shelter, and her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday May 17th, and will be available to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should you find that she is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable. He absolutely loves to snuggle and would love a family that will give him lots of cuddle time! Leroy has been working hard on potty training and is doing great! His new family should be prepared to do a little more training as his routine changes. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition.
