Mr. Shamrock & his 2 sisters arrived in early May from a shelter in Missouri. Originally living in someone’s back yard & never being socialized, these cutie pies sure have come around! Shamrock is a snuggle bug to the max! This boy is also full of all the playful energy you’d expect from a herding breed. He is working hard on kennel & potty training & is around both children & adults in his foster home. Shamrock is neutered & UTD on his vaccinations!

Story
If you've ever wanted a dog who could probably do your taxes if he had opposable thumbs, meet Lenny! This handsome Cattle Dog/Heeler mix is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and always ready for his next adventure. Lenny already knows all his basic commands, is fully potty trained, crate trained, and takes his job as "best dog ever" very seriously. Like any true Heeler, Lenny is happiest when his mind and body are busy. Whether it's a long walk, a hike, exploring new places, playing in a big yard, or simply hanging out with his people, he's always ready to be part of the action. If your idea of a perfect weekend involves getting outside and making memories, Lenny is already packing his bags. Lenny is also a social guy who gets along well with both dogs and cats. He enjoys making new friends and would love a home where he can continue building his confidence and enjoying life. Because of his herding breed instincts and enthusiasm, he'd do best in a home with children 12 years and older who can appreciate his energetic and intelligent nature. This isn't a dog who's looking to spend his days as a couch potato. Lenny is searching for an active family that understands the joys (and occasional antics) of herding breeds. Experience with Heelers, Cattle Dogs, or similar working breeds would be a huge bonus, but most importantly, he's looking for people who will give him the exercise, structure, and mental enrichment he thrives on. In return, you'll get an incredibly loyal companion, a dedicated adventure partner, and a dog who will impress you daily with how smart, loving, and fun he is. Lenny is ready to find his forever family—one that will appreciate the amazing dog he already is and help him continue to shine. Requirements: Children 12 years and older This animal is fostered in: Milwaukee, WIApplicant must be willing to commute to this area for a meet and greet.   All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. If you are interested in meeting this animal, please complete an adoption application on our website: https://www.BestPawsRescue.com Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts. ##2749200##
