Story
Hey, y’all. They call me Andie (and sometimes Annie). I had a ruff (get it?) start to life, but am resilient and am slowly becoming more confident and outgoing. I am most comfortable with women right now, but will probably warm up to men who are patient and gentle. I love the dogs I currently live with, and will surely adore any future doggy siblings - after I get over my initial caution. That said, I’m still a young pup and love to play and can get a bit overzealous with my smaller friends. Not sure how I feel about cats or kiddos; haven’t spent time with either yet, but I do like to chase... I’m doing great with potty training, know how to sit so pretty when tempted with a treat, and I sleep like a dream in my kennel. I can’t wait to find the right adventure buddy to share all my snuggles & affection with.DATCP# 483538

Story
This beautiful little hazel-eyed boy is Bill Murray. For such a young guy, Bill had a rough start to life and is looking for his second chance. Bill is a cattle dog mix & is about 4 months old. Since arriving in Wisconsin Bill has spent most of his time chilling at the rescue & quickly has become a favorite of all the volunteers. He is timid & easily startled by all new experiences so a quieter home without young children is recommended. Once he becomes comfortable he comes a little more out of his shell every day. Bill loves playing with other dogs & follows their cues so a home with another confident dog is a must. Bill also needs a fenced-in yard that he can run around & play in. Mostly Bill needs patient & caring humans who will give him the time & love he needs to be his true self. In a short time, Bill has made incredible strides & with time & love he will be a wonderful addition to the right family.DATCP# 483538

Say hello to this sweet pup, Goose. He is very curious & playful like his brothers. We are working on potty training, & he is good about going #1 & #2 when taken outside. He weighs about 20 pounds & is estimated to be 75-80 pounds full-grown. He loves to play with toys & also snuggle. With proper introductions, he can be good with cats. We are also working on leash training & he really enjoys walks! If you have children, I suggest older kids since he still has so much puppy energy. Come meet this sweet boy!DATCP# 483538

Say hello to this sweet & playful pup, Hawk. He is extremely playful & also very curious. He loves to get into a little bit of trouble if doesn’t have toys or excitement to distract him. He is working on potty training, & has been good about going #1 & #2 when taken outside. He is a curious pup when it comes to cats & has slept with his fosters cat. If you have children, I would advise older children. He has a lot of puppy energy & loves to bite/nibbling that would need to be watched/worked on. He is dry in his crate all night & when he is left when I leave the house. He is also very snuggly & sweet! He is a big pup, currently about 20 pounds. It is estimated that he will be around 75-80 pounds full-grown. Come meet this sweet boy if he sounds like a good fit! DATCP# 483538

Story
Hi, world! My name’s Marita & my favorite thing ever is DOGS. Specifically, dogs that love playing as much as I do. I’m assumed to be a cattle dog mix & it’s estimated that I was born in January of 2023. I’m expected to be full grown at about 40lbs. In my short time, I’ve been through a lot. It takes time for me to warm up to people because they’ve never done right by me before. It’s required that my forever home has at least one other dog to help me feel safe, teach me what being a loved part of the family looks like, & to play with me, of course! My foster family has four other dogs of various sizes & personalities & I get along with all of them just fine - Mom says I’m great at taking their cues. I prefer a home with older kids who can respect the patience I need to feel safe. Cats will be judged on a case-by-case basis as I’m still a puppy & learning how to interact appropriately. Are you ready to give me the patience, love, & training I deserve? Apply today to meet me!DATCP# 483538

Story
About Me: Name: Razzle Breed (or best guess): Cattle Dog/Heeler Approximate Age: 2 yr Gender: Female Approximate Weight: 25 lb Adoption Fee: $450 Requirements: Why In Rescue: Owner surrender Profile:  Razzle lost her home due to no fault of her own.  She is now in a foster home and doing great.  She loves people!  She would do well with another dog her size (large dogs are a little scary to her).  She is a super sweet girl, loves chewing on bones, long walks, and a lap to cuddle on.  A fenced yard would be nice so she could run and play but she does walk on a leash.  If interested in this active, wonderful girl, please fill out the pre-adoption application, and we will put you in touch with the foster home. If interested in adoption, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  If link isn't clickable, please copy/paste or visit http://www.bichonrescues.com. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $200 - $550 depending on the age of the dog, which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $75 (up to $230 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $75 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS June 7, 2023, 7:46 pm

Story
My name is Beth and I am the mama to the Yellowstone litter. I am a sweet little girl - tipping the scales at 38 lbs. I am crate trained and house trained. I do have excellent recall, and am very mellow. I am a shy at first, but I do warm up both with humans and other dogs. True to my breed, I do sometimes nip at heels. Not everyone, but specifically female strangers in the house that I think may need my help showing them where to go. Because of my tendency to herd/nip heels, which has gotten better, I would do best with a home that can firmly tell me know when they see me begin to hover behind strangers so that I understand it's not appropriate. I have done well with my foster's young grandchildren as long as they aren't running around and screaming, if they do, then I go off to a quiet place. I would be a great hiking buddy, or just a snuggle buddy on the couch. I am doing great with the resident dogs here, but I do tend to enjoy playing with people more than the dogs.I am the perfect size - big enough to go running and small enough for your lap! Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $400All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age-appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response.JR's Pups-N-Stuff Dog Sellers License 512395-DS
