Her gentle demeanor and loving personality make her the perfect companion for a family or individual looking to add a furry friend to their home. Training: M aggie has basic training under her belt, which means she knows commands like sit, stay, and come. She's also house-trained and walks well on a leash. While she may need a little time to adjust to new routines, her eagerness to please and intelligent nature make her a quick learner. What to Expect When Adopting a Dog: Adopting a dog is a rewarding experience that comes with responsibilities and joys. Here are some things to consider: Adjustment Period: Every dog needs time to adjust to their new home. Be patient with Maggie as she learns to trust and feel secure in her new environment. Time and Commitment: Dogs require daily exercise, mental stimulation, and social interaction. Make sure you have the time to devote to Maggie's needs, including playtime, training, and walks. Veterinary Care: Regular check-ups, vaccinations, and preventative care are essential to keep Maggie healthy. Be prepared for both routine and unexpected veterinary visits. Training and Socialization: Continue Maggie's training to reinforce good behavior and manners. Socializing her with other dogs and people will help her become a well-rounded and confident dog. Love and Affection: Maggie will thrive in a home where she receives plenty of love, attention, and positive reinforcement. Building a strong bond with her will bring immense joy and companionship. Why Maggie? Maggie is more than just a pretty face; she's a loyal and loving companion ready to shower you with affection. Story
Hammer is an absolute gem with the most delightful personality! She is a survivor of parvo and although she gave us a few scares, she managed to pull through and is now a happy, healthy dog. She's a smart girl who has been with us since birth and is now a year old. Hammer gets along great with people, dogs, and kids and is a total love bug who adores cuddling up with her favorite humans. She can be a bit territorial over her food and toys if you have other dogs, but it's nothing to worry too much about. Hammer is a puppy and has puppy tendencies. She is looking for a family to learn and grow with. If you are interested in adopting me, please go to the Ozzie and Friends website https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org  October 22, 2024, 1:26 pm

Story
Thelma is sweet girl who loves to snuggle with her humans. She is happy to be in your arms or lap whenever possible, and has petite bone structure, so we do not think she is going to be too large. She always makes you laugh and is energetic so will enjoy lots of playtime. She plays with all of her toys and her sister. More than anything, she loves to be the center of attention and gets jealous when her sister is in your lap instead of herself. She can be a little timid with new experiences, especially with other dogs, but warms up quickly and adores being the center of attention. Although not fully housebroken, she learns fast and is well on her way. She is extremely food motivated, so training has been easier. Thelma sleeps through the night and is very food motivated. Learning new things is very exciting to her, including how to walk on a leash. She would be a fun addition to a loving home.
