Meet Sheldon! Sheldon has officially been with us a month. He is a herding mix at 7 months old 30lbs This poor boy found himself on those last 24 hours at a kill shelter till we stepped in. His story isn’t so great being found with another dog in an abandoned house skin and bones and covered in ticks. Then after being “rescued” spent two months sitting in a kennel at a overcrowded shelter Now he is in a foster home in Denver but those scars run deep. He is good with other dogs but needs slow intros as he is reactive at new dogs at first. He’s high energy and finally has gained appropriate weight. He really loves to snuggle and is great all new people **Crate Trained **House Trained - will let you know when he needs to go potty **Great on leash **Good in car **Has basic obedience and knows how to do "middle" Command **Very smart and treat motivated so training him has been easy so far! Someone with herding dog or working dog experience is preferred. From a scared, fragile pup to a bright, playful spirit, Sheldon’s transformation has been amazing to watch. Someone give this boy a chance, we didn’t save him from dying for nothing!! Comes fully vetted and with 2 free one on one dog training sessions

Our petite Coney is a special soul, who just wants to be loved by her people. Left abandoned after her family moved, she is ready to find a life partner in adventure, relaxation, and love. She is only 28 pounds and is fully grown, so we put her as a small dog simply so she would not get overlooked. She fits right in between your legs and will snuggle there. She would love to be a lap dog and walks well on a leash. She enjoys playing with other dogs, and is polite about that, though being with people is what she would always prefer, and she would like to be an only dog with doggie friends. She is medium energy, and loves to lie under a desk while you are working or by your feet in the kitchen. She lives with a dog-savvy cat in the foster home and does just fine. She is quite well-behaved and loves her crate as her safe space. Coney has a smile on her face most of the time, and is a gentle soul ready for her forever!

Sweet Kylie is a fully house trained, medium sized Australian Cattle Dog mix, who is mostly black with distinctive silver fox coloring on the underside of her legs, belly and chin. Kylie is such a special girl, with many different aspects to her personality. She is quite vocal with her idiosyncratic grunts and groans of appreciation. When out on a walk, she loves strolling around to check out all the smells, is well mannered, has a high energy wag to her tail and absolutely loves rolling in the grass. Kylie maintains a demeanor which is submissive, fawning and eager to please with most humans. She loves to be in close proximity to her person and is very in tune to emotions and energy. It is almost as though she were trained as a therapy dog at some point. In order to support Kylies efforts to be the best dog she can be she needs a home where she can be the only animal as she loves to be the center of attention! Kylie is spayed, microchipped and up to date with shots.

Ellie is absolutely the cutest, sweetest 7 year old doggo. She is a smart, active Australian cattle/husky mix who can either be calm and relax at home or go on crazy adventures! She has been a roadtripping dog, so she is the best in the car. My friends always forget when she’s in the car with us because she’s so quiet. She loves attention from people—whether that be through pets, throwing ball, tug of war, going on hikes/walks/runs, or cuddling. Belly and booty rubs are her favorite. I’m a nanny, and I regularly bring the kids I watch to walk/play with her. She is fantastic with kids, and they love her so much. She also loves swimming. I love her so much and sincerely would not be rehoming her if I wasn’t so busy outside of the home. I got her when I was 17, and she deserves a more stable living situation.
