Meet Ronda!Ronda is a sweet, playful gal who may be a little shy at first—but give her a few days, and she’ll blossom into your new best friend. She’s an active pup who loves to run around and is learning to play fetch (though sometimes she gets so excited she forgets to bring the toy back!). Ronda is adjusting wonderfully to life outside the shelter. She’s mostly potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go out, but if she can’t hold it, she’ll use potty pads. She gets so excited to play outside that she sometimes needs a gentle reminder that it’s also potty time. Walks are still a little intimidating for her, but with patience and encouragement, she’s learning that they can be fun. Ronda is a Kelpie mix, though on the smaller side—she may even have some Chihuahua in her. No matter her mix, she’s a lovable, playful companion who is eager to bond with her forever family. She would do best in a home without young children. Slow introductions to other dogs are best, and while she’s still figuring out cats, she knows to leave them alone when told. Hello, I'm Ronan Ronan, is a loving, cuddly, shy in new situations guy who is looking for a human that will be patient as he adjust to new situations who will then blossom into the most loyal companion. Ronan is great in his kennel at the events. He doesn’t bark and waits perfectly for volunteers to take him for walks. He is around 30 lbs and will not get any bigger. He loves going for walks but still a little nervous in new surroundings. I am a medium to high energy guy, but also love to be held and cuddled. Ronan is good with other dogs and still trying to figure out the cats, but knows to leave them alone with told. He is working on his manners and may jump when excited, so would need to be watched around younger children. Meet Sheldon! Sheldon has officially been with us for two months and has learned and grown so much!! He is a herding mix at 9 months old 30lbs This poor boy found himself on those last 24 hours at a kill shelter till we stepped in. His story isn’t so great being found with another dog in an abandoned house skin and bones and covered in ticks. Then after being “rescued” spent two months sitting in a kennel at a overcrowded shelter He’s medium high energy and finally has gained appropriate weight. He really loves to snuggle and is great all new people. Once he knows the dog, he loves to play! **Crate Trained **House Trained - will let you know when he needs to go potty **Great on leash **Good in car **Has basic obedience and knows how to do "middle" Command **Very smart and treat motivated so training him has been easy so far! **can do scent games with easy, has great training potential for a sport dog or some service stuff Someone with herding dog or working dog experience is preferred. From a scared, fragile pup to a bright, playful spirit, Sheldon’s transformation has been amazing to watch. Someone give this boy a chance, we didn’t save him from dying for nothing!!
