Say hi to Mylo! He is a very intelligent and fast 5 month old. He loves his chew toys and a good nap. He is not food aggressive and loves to spend time with other dogs. He has been incredible to have in our home, but he needs more time to play. We have taught him how to sit, potty trained him, and he has been crate trained with us the past couple months. We love this cuddle bug and are excited to help him find his forever home.

Story
Jeb is an Australian Shepherd who needs a home better suited to his needs. After a short trial in our multi-dog home, it’s clear he does not do well living with other dogs and would likely do best as an only dog (or with very careful introductions). He is affectionate, cuddly, loves attention, and is good with visitors/adults. He walks well on leash and is continuing to work on leash manners. He is very bonded and protective of his person and can be sensitive to loud noises/yelling. No known bite history. He may be an escape risk (has jumped a chain-link fence in a prior home), so a secure yard is important. He needs daily enrichment/exercise and a calm, experienced home (someone home often preferred). He does not do well in a crate and will panic. Previous owners report he did well with a pet bird, but compatibility with cats/small animals is unknown.

Meet Dillon Age: 2 years old Breed: Australian Shepherd – German Shepherd mix Health: Came to us underweight and anxious; now perfectly healthy Personality: Loves to play and run around the yard Compatibility: Gets along great with cats (lives with 6!) Enjoys running the yard with his dog friends Loves kids and humans of all ages Training: Potty trained Crate trained Fun Fact: Looks just like the dog Tom Brady paid $$$ to clone! Dillon is wondering why he hasn’t found his forever home yet—he’s perfect!   All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Piper is 6 years old and the smartest dog I’ve ever owned. We rescued Piper from an Amish farm — one farm had pure bred Aussies, the neighbor farm had pure bred Border Collies, Piper was part of an accidental mixed litter. Piper mastered “sit”, “stay”, “lay down”, and “come” within a few weeks of coming home. She now responds to all four commands in sign-language: ✊, ✋, 👇, 🤌. When not on leash, she may dart away but always comes back. At home, she can confidently be trusted without one. Piper is a cuddler, a lover, and obsessed with her master. Piper is also too aware to cope with our children: 19 month old and 4 month old. We’ve never had a safety issue, never a bite or anything close. Piper is just jealous and now barks at us, often. We aren’t able to give her the attention or exercise she needs. We plan to have more children. If you need a best friend, have land, or older children: she’s an amazing dog. I will miss her.. Fees can be waived for the right home.

From Corbin’s foster: Hi everyone! This is Corbin! 🩵 He and his siblings were found at a landfill and I am fostering him until he finds his furever fam! This sweet baby is 2 months old and likely a lab/hound mix. He’s a curious, cuddly little guy who loves to play, explore, and then curl up for some good snuggles. ✨ About him: • Eating solid food like a champ • Working on potty training- he’s going to need a dedicated family to help him but he is already using pee pads indoors (to keep him safe from the out doors until he is fully vaccinated) • Crate training at night and doing great (sometimes just needs a cuddle to settle 💕 he really loves his people) • Very affectionate and playful • Curious and gentle around other animals 🩺 Medical: • Received distemper & parvo initial vaccines • Dewormed with Paragard This sweet pup is being fostered through Pets of Ohio Rescue Team and is available for adoption now.
