Meet Silas! 🐾 Silas is our adorable 5-year-old purebred blue merle Australian Shepherd. He’s a sweet, lovable boy with a goofy little personality and the cutest derpy moments. One of his favorite things is getting belly rubs! ❤️ He enjoys having room to run and would love a home with a securely fenced yard and a tall fence. He has an energetic side and sometimes forgets his size, but he’s a sweet boy who likes kids. Silas is neutered, house-trained, and crate trained. He knows how to sit, shake, and lie down when he’s calm and focused. His beautiful coat will need regular grooming, and we can update his vaccinations for his new home. We think Silas may do well with other dogs, although we aren’t completely sure, so a careful introduction would be best. He has never been around cats, so we don’t know how he would do with them. We’re looking for a loving home that understands Australian Shepherds and can give Silas the space, care, and attention he needs.

Hi, it's me Sammie! I am a 10.5 month old, male, australian shepherd /german shepherd mix. Don't let that scare you! I have the brains of both breeds. I have a stunning coat of black tan and merle. And I am the perfect balance of playful puppy and time to tuck myself in for a nap. Did I mention I'm smart? I like to self train- train you! I am create trained, go to the door when it's time to go outside and ride great shotgun. I know all of my basic commands, and I'm eager to learn more. I am both food and positive reinforcement motivated. And I love to show you my new tricks. I love all the people, kids, dogs and I even kissed a cat ( and I liked it!). I am both brains and bueaty!  Don't wait! I can't! And I won't last long here at Adopt A Pit. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Meet Bright! The first time you see him you will be captivated by his smile, his adorable curled tail and his little face. Bright is the size of a Kelpie with German shepherd coloring & fur. But he acts like an Aussie. He is around 3/4 years old & 46 lbs. He has been through professional behavior training so he’s an incredibly talented guy but still has a goofball side. He prances when he runs; he’s hilarious. Bright is fine with dogs - indifferent to them. He’d do best with older kids bc he’s a sass. We do require participation in learning his training skills to make sure he’s the right fit forever. Bright is good in a crate, loves the car & would love to be the center of your world! Apply to adopt him today!! Bright is with a trainer in Lucasville. Apply for him on our website and we will get you in touch with his trainer!
