Story
Meet Machi, a loving and energetic 4-year-old bulldog who is in need of a new home. She was born in my sister’s litter and has grown up alongside our 4-year-old son, forming a strong bond with our family. However, due to the demands of having a young family and me returning to school, we have been unable to give her the attention and space she needs. In early 2024, we downsized our living situation, and unfortunately, we have struggled to provide the space she requires as a growing bulldog. Machi is not spayed at the moment, and she does mark her territory. However, she is incredibly sweet, enjoys being around people, and gets anxious when left alone. We are planning to have her spayed soon, which should help with some of her behavioral needs. Machi deserves a home where she can receive the love, attention, and space she needs to thrive. If you’re looking for a playful and affectionate companion, Machi could be the perfect fit. Please reach out if you’re interested in giving her the

Kobe's friendly nature, boundless energy, and love for humans make him an exceptional companion for anyone seeking an active and affectionate pet. Kobe's unique personality, stemming from his mix of bulldog and beagle traits, sets him apart. He finds joy in toys, belly rubs, laps, and hugs, making every interaction a delightful experience. If you're someone with an active lifestyle, Kobe could be your perfect running or hiking partner, showcasing his potential as a fantastic fit for individuals or families who love outdoor activities. This charismatic pup not only loves human companionship but also enjoys playing with other dogs. However, Kobe can be a bit possessive when it comes to his food and toys, so a home where he can be the sole pet would be ideal. At approximately 3 years old and weighing around 35 lbs, Kobe is ready to bring his infectious energy and affection into a forever home. Currently residing in boarding, he eagerly awaits the opportunity to be a part of a loving family. Are you the one who can offer Kobe the active lifestyle and affection he craves? This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/. Story
A friend of a friend had requested I help with rehoming Chop he is 4 years old and from what we think he is a English bull dog/Pitbull mix. The previous owners seemed to not want him anymore and were neglecting him by keeping him in a cage all the time. Seems he hasn't been loved but is super friendly and likes to play. Only down fall is he is not used to cats and so he thinks they are toys/prey and tries to hunt them, would recommend not being around cats. He is great with dogs but would be better in a whole along or with 1 other dog so he can get the attention he hasn't had. Always super happy and loves a plushy toy!
