Story
Maisy will steal your heart with her expressive eyes and sweet demeanor. She is a small-medium sized female weighing about 30 pounds. She is playful and engaging with humans and dogs alike. Maisy's foster says she loves to run in the yard and is working on basic commands. Maisy is easy on leash, good in the car, and would make an excellent buddy for any kind of outing. She is house trained and crate trained. She is happy to occupy herself with toys but prefers the company of people. Her foster says, "I believe that Maisey is the perfect dog, especially for a first time dog owner.  She is a cuddler.  She is obedient and is tries to please."  She also says that she is "still very much a puppy.  She is timid at times - needs to feel that whatever, eating, going outside, etc., is okay!" Maisy is likely to not shed too much as her hair is short. She has a big appetite and LOVES walks! She is great with dogs, she is sweet and loving and wants to be the best dog for her person! Maisy's foster says that she goes int the crate at night without an issue and doesn't cry at night, content until morning. She is a low key, low maintenance dog who would likely be great with kids. ##2459100##

House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Quiet My foster guardian says: My favorite thing about Oakland is how snuggly he is! Likes: walks, dog parks, chew toys   Hi, Im Oakland! If youre looking for a dog with a big personality, youve found him! Im an energetic guy, excited about life! Some of my favorite things to do are playing with my toys, chewing on bones, and running at top speed! Im a super friendly guy (unless youre an electric scooter), and I like to greet everybody when Im out on a walk. Im always down for a game of tug, or wrestling with my doggie friends at the park. For all my energy though, my foster says Im a professional cuddler, and super affectionate. I know how to chill, and like to spend my downtime sleeping. I love to be near my people as much as possible, and Im a champion couch and bed snuggler. As far as special skills go, Im learning lots everyday! Im super good in my crate, Im totally potty trained, and I already know how to sit! So, if youre looking for a multi-talented cuddle bug who can snooze as well as they can play, then we might be a great match! Apply to adopt me today!   Please visit our website www.ruraldogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing dog and to see other dogs available for adoption!

Story
Don is an energetic, loving dog who has brought so much joy and affection into our lives. He thrives on being around people, always eager to play, cuddle, and be included in whatever’s going on. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be by your side and truly connects with his humans. However, since welcoming our baby and adjusting to a new living situation, we’ve realized that we can no longer give Don the time, space, and attention he needs and deserves. As hard as this decision is, we believe the most loving thing we can do for him now is to find a home where he can truly thrive and be the center of someone’s world again.
