Story
Hi! My name is Cardi B. I am a really sweet, short legged lil girl, and I am just looking for my furever home! My mom is about 30 lbs, and looks like an American bully mixed with French bulldog...so we are assuming that's my breed mix too! I am 8 weeks old (born around March 11, 2025), weigh about 6 pounds, and I love dogs, cats and kids. I am doing so well with all of them in my foster home in South Carolina! I also know how to use a doggy door! I am spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for my age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. I am all ready to be adopted :) My adoption fee is $575, and covers all of my vetting, and includes transport within the next two weeks, if my new family lives in the northeast USA. ***PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO ADOPT WITHIN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS**** Please visit https://www.apply.daybeforetherainbow.com/ to fill out an adoption application form or email my rescue at taryn@daybeforetherainbow.com! Thanks for checking me out!

Story
Hi, I’m Daniel — and I’m pretty sure I was born to be someone’s shadow. I’m a 4-month-old (as of April 2025) adorable bulldog mix (emphasis on adorable) with an underbite that’ll make you smile and a wiggly little tail that just does its own thing — kind of like me. I’m small, sweet, and full of love for everyone. People, kids, dogs, squirrels... if it moves, I want to be friends. I’ve been told I have the “the boxer bounce” when I greet people — I don’t really know what that means, but apparently it’s really cute. I just get so excited to see you that my feet can’t help but dance. I walk nicely on a leash, but don’t expect me to understand personal space. I’m a certified cuddle pro, always leaning in, flopping over, or nuzzling close. The truth is, I just want to be where the love is. I had a meet-and-greet recently… and they stood me up. I waited, tail twitching, all dressed in hope. But maybe that’s because the right person — my person — hadn’t found me yet. So if you're looking for a little soul with a crooked tail and a big heart, I’m here. I’m ready. And I'm pumped! I love you already! ##2369654##

Story
Come meet me during our events Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM - 4 PM at the Homeward Trails Manny Law Adoption Center, 11116 Fairfax Station Rd, Fairfax Station, VA. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our dog adoption questionnaire and e-mail any questions to: adoptioncenter@homewardtrails.org PLEASE VISIT THIS WEBSITE TO FIND THE ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE: http://www.homewardtrails.org/adopt-a-pet/adoption-forms/ LOCATION: Adoption Center ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Adoption Center ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training, and other discounts! ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 44 lbs - a perfect size! KNOWN WITH DOGS: Great! Gaia is a total wigglebutt when meeting other dogs. She is affectionate, liking to kiss them in the face, and playful, so she'd do great with another playful dog. She is very happy around other dogs, though she can get concerned when they get around her food and treats or people she loves. KNOWN WITH CATS: Great. She is a bit scared of them so currently will not walk by the household cat in her foster home. Very respectful of the kitty! KNOWN WITH KIDS: Gaia seems great with people of all ages. She has not met a human yet she does not love, and did great with kids in a previous home. Wiggles, cuddles, kisses, and just loves to be hugged. KNOWN CUES: Not sure yet. We'll report back. She walks VERY WELL ON LEASH. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Goes nicely into her crate. May whine a bit to start but then quiets down. We are not sure yet on full housebreaking. KNOWN LIKES: People! Dogs! Cuddles! Playtime! KNOWN DISLIKES: None known at this time ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Gaia is going to make the perfect addition to a family who loves an affectionate, playful dog. She'd love another dog companion but can also be an only dog with humans who will play with her, allow her to meet other dogs, and cuddle with her. She walks well in an urban environment, seems to be crate trained and knows how to be calm in the home after her walk. She's the perfect size as we expect she'll be under 45 lbs full-grown. She loves cuddles and toys and loves to kiss other dogs and people the most! She is truly a gem! Gaia was spayed during her stay at Homeward Trails, and she is going to have surgery to address an issue with her knees.

I'm a brave soul, not afraid to explore new places or meet new friends. My calm demeanor makes me a great companion, whether we're chilling at home or out on an adventure. I'm a friendly guy who gets along well with other dogs, and I've even lived with cats before. I'm also crate trained, which means I'm respectful of your space and belongings. I do have allergies, but they're manageable with a little care. I'm just looking for a family who will love me, allergies and all. I promise to bring joy, companionship, and unconditional love to your home. Will you be my forever family?Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. He is the epitome of sweetness, a bit shy at first, but warms quickly. He has a gentle nature that will melt your heart, and his adorable quirky "smile" is totally endearing. He loves other dogs, too, and won't mind sharing the love. Wham is currently being treated for non-contagious Demodex mange, but this doesn't dampen his spirits one bit. Once his condition clears up, he will be super handsome! He has had a lot to deal with so far, but he is a cheerful and resilient fella. Wham is not just a pet, he's a friend waiting to offer unwavering love and loyalty. Choose Wham, and you won't regret a single day.
