We acquired Dyno from a newborn litter when we were living in Arkansas in September of 2023. We chose him because he was spunky but not dominating, and adorable. Dyno has grown to be a lovable young dog of 2 1/2 years old now. We moved to Annapolis a year ago to be close to my wife’s family and only grandbaby and have been traveling from state to state over the last year for business and family. It has become increasingly difficult to continue to travel when we have to fly and cannot bring Dyno, and it’s so expensive to get a sitter while we adjust to our new space. We would love for someone to adopt Dyno that will love him the way we do, but has the time and space for him to enjoy, and we look forward to hearing from you.🐶🫶🏽

A little bit about Lola…We found her in our neighborhood and decided to take her in until we found her owner. Eventually we found the owner but they didn’t want her so we kept her as she was a good companion to our other beagle Lucky. In the past year we’ve gone back and forth about rehoming her, and now that we have a newborn we’re considering it again. We believe she deserves better — more attention and long walks, which we just aren’t able to provide right now. Lola loves to cuddle and play fetch. She enjoys walks and sniffing. You would know she has a scent because she sniffs vigorously and makes this barking/squealing noise. It’s cute and funny. She is very food motivated which makes her easy to train, and she loves long chew bones and toys. She just got her teeth cleaned, is all caught up on shots and in perfect health besides her chubbiness.

If you`re craving a pup to fill that hole in your family - Bagel is gonna be the perfect fit! This handsome 2-year-old Beagle mix is the kind of dog who fits in just about anywhere. Whether your perfect day includes hiking the trails, tossing toys in the backyard with the kids, or relaxing on the couch for a movie marathon, Bagel is ready to join in. He`s especially head-over-paws for children and will happily spend hours following them around, playing outside, or simply being part of whatever adventure they`re having. He also gets along wonderfully with other dogs, adjusting his play style to match their personalities, and his friendly nature makes everyone feel like they`re already part of his pack. Basically...this Bagel is EVERYTHING!Like any true Beagle, Bagel believes life is best experienced one sniff at a time. He walks nicely on a leash but can get a little enthusiastic when an interesting scent catches his attention, and every now and then you`ll hear his classic Beagle bay when he`s especially excited. He`s doing great with crate training, is almost completely house trained, and is learning basic commands like `sit` and `stay.` His biggest work-in-progress is remembering that shoes and other household items aren`t chew toys when he gets bored, so he`ll do best with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and appropriate chew toys to keep his busy mind occupied. Bagel has completed treatment for heartworm and is feeling great - he`ll simply need routine follow-up testing as part of his recovery. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!

Meet Lewey: A Beagle Who Never Gave Up Hope Some dogs come to us with stories that break our hearts but also remind us just how resilient dogs can be. Meet Lewey, a sweet 1 year old, 27.5-pound Beagle who spent approximately four months surviving on his own, wandering as a stray and trying to make it through each day. Despite numerous efforts, no one came forward looking for him, and there were no reports of him missing. Thankfully, Lewey's story took a turn for the better when a compassionate family refused to give up on him. After weeks of trying, they were finally able to safely trap and rescue him. His rescuers immediately got him veterinary care, vaccinations, and, most importantly, a safe place to begin healing. It's clear that Lewey has not always been treated with the kindness he deserves. He can be timid and cautious when meeting new people, but every day, this brave little Beagle is learning that not all humans will hurt him. And the progress he has made is incredible. Lewey absolutely adores other dogs. In fact, his foster family's dog has become his security blanket, best friend, teacher, and confidence coach all rolled into one. He follows his canine buddy everywhere and is learning how wonderful life as a beloved family dog can be. With patience, love, and another friendly dog to show him the ropes, Lewey continues to blossom. A huge thank you to Samantha and her family for refusing to look the other way, for rescuing Lewey, caring for him, and continuing to foster him while he waits for his forever family.
