We are sadly looking to surrender/rehome our dog due to my mother becoming seriously ill and currently being hospitalized. She has been the primary caregiver, and unfortunately she will not be physically able to continue caring for him when/if she is released from the hospital. This has been a very difficult decision for our family, but we want to make sure he goes to a safe, loving home where he can receive the time, attention, and care he deserves. He is a loving, energetic dog with a lot of personality, and we are hoping to find someone experienced and committed who can give him a stable environment. Our priority is finding the best possible home for him during this transition.

I can be an escape artist, so supervised playtime in the yard is a good idea. My foster mom says I am pretty quiet for a beagle. I am gentle and polite with all my doggy friends and I really love to cuddle with my humans. I cannot wait to find a family all my own who will provide me all the love and attention I deserve! To help me find the perfect match, I’m eligible for Cause for Canines’ Trial Adoption Program! This gives approved adopters a chance to get to know me in their home before making things official. My father passed away a few months ago and I’m looking to find an amazing home for his dog. His name is Raleigh, he will be 5 in June! He is a beagle/hound mixed cutie and about 60lbs. (Yes I LOVE this dog and would take him if I physically could ❤️). He has medical needs (epilepsy) that is well controlled with meds (no seizures since July)… but does require someone that’s available to administer meds at certain times throughout the day. He’s amazing with other dogs, loves to cuddle, and clings to his people. TBD on cats, I don’t know if he’s been test but he’s submissive enough my guess would be he would do great.
