I took her in because her original owner could no longer keep her but unfortunately I'm no longer to keep her as well she's an amazing dog very loving and is absolutely good with children and people in general. I hate to let her go but I absolutely can't keep her any longer.

I’m a sweet, curious, and shy girl who is still learning that the world is a safe place. I may take a little time to come out of my shell, but every day I’m getting braver, warmer, and more comfortable. Once I trust you, I’ll quietly follow you around the house and find cozy little spots where I feel confident and safe. I’ve met multiple dogs and have done well with them. I’m usually polite and like to keep my space, so I’d likely do best with dog friends who respect my gentle nature. I haven’t been introduced to children or cats yet, so I’m not sure how I feel about them. I’m crate trained and sleep through the night in my crate. My crate is my safe space, and I’ll often go in there on my own when I want to relax. I do need to be crated when left alone, but I’m a low-energy girl and would likely be okay hanging out in my kennel during the day as long as I have a routine and feel secure. I’m getting better on leash every day! Sometimes I can still get scared and may pull a little, but overall I’m easy to control and enjoy short walks. I also love exploring the backyard on a long lead. I don’t need a ton of exercise — a short walk or two a day, some sniffing time, and a cozy place to lounge would make me very happy. I’m a quiet girl, which is pretty rare for a beagle! So far, I haven’t had much to say. I’m more of a lounge pup with big adorable ears, a soft heart, and a gentle spirit. I love Milk Bones, chicken chews, and crinkly stuffies. I do have Lyme disease, but it doesn’t seem to bother me. My rescue is monitoring it and treating it as advised. My ideal home would be with someone patient, loving, and kind — someone who will give me a safe space, a steady routine, and gentle encouragement as I continue learning about new things. I don’t need much; just comfort, love, and someone who believes in me while I keep blossoming. Miss Baylen came to DASH with several other dogs where the home they were in were sending them to a high kill shelter in KY. This little girl is just the sweetest most loving dog you can imagine. All she wants is to be loved on and be the center of attention. She is young and due to the situation she came from, she is working on crate training, going potty outside and learning what a leash is. Her new family will need to continue working with her on these things. She is crated during the day while her foster mom is at work, as she will be nosey and get into things and tear up things in typical puppy fashion. She gets an activity ball and mat while in her crate along with a chew bone to keep her happy. She loves the other dogs in her foster home and loves being out in the fenced in back yard doing zoomies from one end to the other and getting the other younger dogs in on the fun! This girl is also very intelligent and training her should be a breeze once she gets all of her excess energy out. She also loves to chill on a lap or the couch and just being with her person. She has not been kid or cat tested, but feel she would be fine with kids with proper introductions. She is ready to find her forever home where she can continue to blossom into a wonderful dog! She is a young girl, and is initially shy when meeting new people, but will warm up fairly quickly. Once she knows you, she will be by your side 24/7. She is very playful and loves playing with other young dogs in her foster home and playing with toys. She is working on crate training, going potty outside consistently and learning what a leash is. Her new family will need to continue working with her on all of these things, as they are all new to her. She loves other dogs, and would probably do better in a home with another dog of similar energy so she can run and play and get some of the energy out, then she is ready to chill and relax on a lap or a couch.
