He’s gentle, friendly, and so ready to begin the happy life he’s always deserved. Scout’s story is heartbreaking but hopeful. He was dumped on a rural Kentucky back road where countless dogs and cats are abandoned. Locals sometimes leave food out for the strays, but Scout was often chased away by the other dogs and never got his fair share. When our friends in Kentucky learned what was happening, they stepped in, rescued him, and contacted LaMancha so he could finally get the chance he deserves. Now safe and loved, Scout has shown us who he really is—a kind, affectionate boy who gets along well with other dogs and adores human attention. He’s the type of dog who just wants to belong, to be cherished, and to share life’s adventures with a family who sees how special he is.
