She can be a little reserved when she first meets new people, but with a little patience and kindness she quickly relaxes and lets her sweet personality shine. Once she feels comfortable, Nessie loves staying close to her people and enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing. This girl has the perfect mix of calm affection and happy puppy energy. She enjoys quiet time just as much as playtime and will happily curl up next to you for some snuggles after a long day. But when it’s time to have fun, Nessie is ready! She loves chasing a ball, bouncing around the yard, and showing off her silly, playful side. 🎾 Nessie is also a very well-mannered young pup. She is crate trained and house trained, which will help make the transition into her new home nice and smooth. She gets along great with other dogs, does well with cats, and is gentle with children. She has even been introduced to horses and chickens and handled those experiences wonderfully. Irma is very good with the other dogs in the foster home but will be fine as an only dog as long as get enough affection and attention by her new adopters.  She has been fine with her foster's 9 yo grandson.
