She’s incredibly social and loves making new friends—both human and canine. Once she knows you`re her person, she’s loyal for life. Be prepared for a serious lack of personal space—Whiskey is a professional cuddler who loves to wind down right by your side. She’s an active girl who’s always up for an adventure. Whether it’s hiking, swimming, or running, Whiskey is ready to go! But she’s just as happy soaking up the sun as your tanning buddy at the beach or in the yard. She’s no stranger to sandy paws and loves a good romp by the water.Like many hounds, Whiskey has a nose for everything—literally. She’s very food-motivated, which makes training easier. Her manners around food could use some tweaking. Whiskey will do best with people who can offer her structure and consistency. She likes to roughhouse and can be a bit bossy with other dogs if not corrected, so dog friends who set clear boundaries are ideal. She has shared a home with other dogs and enjoys their companionship, but will need a home without cats.Whiskey is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and is ready to be someone’s Velcro dog. She thrives on structure, affection, and ongoing training—and in return, she’ll give you all the love and snuggles you could ever want.
