Story
Hello! My name is Chutney (1yr) and I am looking for my perfect family! I was found on the streets of Philly by the ACCT when I was around 6-8 months old. My current mom adopted me from the shelter and has taken great care of me since! Unfortunately, I have shown unhappiness in our apartment despite all of the love given. I would do best in a house with a back yard to run around in and an active family. We go for at least two walks a day usually an hour long since we don't have any space for me to run. I absolutely love other dogs, to the point of being leash reactive. I go to daycare and love it there and have spent significant amounts of time with another dog in the house. I can walk fine with any doggy siblings, but if I see a strange dog I get so excited that I bark and lunge. We have been working on this and other obedience. I can do all my tricks really well! Sit is the most reliable one that I can do. I am house-trained, crate trained, and up to date on all of my vaccines.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. Beagle lovers, where are you? Taylor (Swift) IS AVAILABLE for adoption! Taylor had been adopted but was returned due to her adopter being allergic. Taylor is safe in one of our amazing foster homes and ready to find her forever home! This little lady appears to be a Beagle mix. She is about 10 mo-1yr old and weighs about 30 pounds. She is a very friendly, smart, and loving little girl. She was rescued off the streets and she seems to be very grateful for a safe place, a steady diet, and affection. She knows the command sit both by saying sit and just using the hand signal. She responds well to her name and responds to “come here Taylor”. She loves to play fetch, is learning 'stay' and is house trained (but accidents should be expected as she gets used to her new environment). She walks great on a leash. She rides well in the car. She gets along and plays well with other dogs. She can be a little rough with smaller dogs. She’s great with kids. She is still in the puppy stage and at times playfully nips. She has seen the cats in her foster home through a baby gate and through the cat door. She has sniffed them though the gate and cat door and has not acted aggressively. She is high energy and enjoys playing with the dogs in her foster home but she seems to be able tell when her foster siblings need a break from playing and leaves them alone. She would definitely benefit from a fenced yard or have a dog park she could be brought to to be able to run around off leash and burn off some energy. Taylor loves to have a lap to sit in and loves to sleep glued to your side. She is somewhat afraid of some men until she knows they are safe, but she learns quickly and trusts easily, and treats help speed that process up! She is sweet little girl and just needs a home of her own. Story
Beagle Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around a year or 2 old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. If you're interested in welcoming Bailey or any of our Funny Farm friends into your home, please visit funnyfarmpets.org to learn more about our Tennessee-based rescue, the adoption process, the comprehensive vetting procedures these pets undergo before they come to your home, and to submit an adoption application. The adoption fee for this pet is $325, and an additional $200 is required for transport. Currently located in a foster home in Tennessee, this pet will be transported to a northern location after the adoption process is finalized. For details on meeting locations and the transport process, please visit the transport tab at funnyfarmpets.org.
