Mac is a sweet boy who just turned 1 in August. He is a purebred beagle who is AKC registered and was neutered this past June. He is up to date on all shots. We have two young children at home (6 & 2) and unfortunately Mac does not have much patience with the kids which is understandable as he is young himself. We have two cats and he’s ok with them, more curious than anything. Due to our schedules we are not able give him the time and care that he needs and I think he would thrive in a home with older children or adults only.

Groovy is one of the three little survivors who make up our “Cool Kids” crew. Groovy, his brother Nifty, and their sister Peachy were found newly born along a rural road in Coolville, Ohio, near the home of one of our whelping fosters. The three were taken into care and have been lovingly raised as bottle babies by two of our very experienced whelping fosters, receiving round-the-clock care from the very beginning. Sadly, other puppies found with them did not survive despite every effort, making these three little survivors all the more special. Groovy is the rowdier of the two brothers and already showing plenty of personality. He weighs just over 5 pounds, has an adorable slightly scruffy coat and is ridiculously smart. He has already mastered the dog door, and when he gets tired, Groovy simply puts himself to sleep. Clearly, this little guy has the puppy life figured out. His Beagle traits are starting to show, too, and we expect his personality will continue to develop as he grows. Groovy has overcome more in his short life than any puppy should have to, but today he is thriving, soaking up love and discovering just how fun being a puppy can be. Groovy will arrive in Pennsylvania on September 2, with pickup in the Pottstown area. We are accepting foster-to-adopt applications through August 26. With foster-to-adopt, Groovy can come home with you for a two-week trial period, giving everyone time to make sure the match is right before finalizing the adoption. If Groovy has not been selected for foster-to-adopt by August 26, he will enter a traditional foster home and become available for adoption on or after September 16. Three tiny survivors. Meet Chance: Chance is about a 3 year old (as of July 2026) beagle / corgi mix (best guess) that weighs about 25 pounds. Chance was in a group of dogs taken in by animal control in Brownsville, TN. The owner got sick and sadly passed away, leaving multiple unaltered dogs behind that had been living together. Luckily they are now safe in rescue and being cared for. Chance is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Chance is a nice dog that is a great size. Chance is currently house trained to a doggie door and may need patience while adjusting to a new process. We would love for Chance to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can roam and play freely. Chance is up to date on his shots and neutered.
