Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Bennie, a loving young Beagle mix pup with a gentle heart and an affectionate personality that makes him impossible not to adore. At just six months old and 24 pounds, Bennie is still discovering the world around him and learning what it means to be part of a family, and he’s embracing every moment with sweetness and curiosity. Bennie is the perfect blend of playful energy and cozy companionship. He enjoys going for walks, exploring at your side, and then happily settling in for a well-earned nap. His favorite place to be is wherever you are, often curled up right in your lap or resting close enough to make sure he’s always touching his person. One of his most endearing habits is carrying stuffed animals proudly around the house, as if showing off his treasured collection. He is eager to please, always watching you attentively and ready to earn praise or a tasty treat. As a young dog experiencing life in a home for the first time, Bennie is still learning his routines. He already understands “go potty” when taken outside and is making steady progress with housetraining as long as he has consistency and encouragement. He does well in his crate, usually settling in for naps after a brief moment of adjustment, and he walks nicely on leash, happily following along just a step behind his person. He simply relaxes and enjoys the journey when in the car. Bennie gets along well with other dogs and shows a gentle, respectful nature around animals he meets. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but his loving personality shines through quickly once he feels safe. His treat motivation and desire to make his humans happy will make continued training both fun and rewarding. This sweet boy would fit beautifully into almost any loving home ready to guide a young pup as he grows. With patience, consistency, and plenty of affection, Bennie will blossom into a loyal, devoted companion who will happily follow you through life... and probably carry a stuffed toy along for the adventure.  Interested in adopting? As a rescue, We do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. These 3 girls for (BLAIRE, SAMARA AND HOLLIS) some reason remind me of beagles, hound lab mix! they have the most beautiful colors with their backs being darker than the rest of them. They were all so happy to be out in the sunshine after being in the shelter and getting some attention. They were found as strays together. 4 months and all around 20lbs I think they will be smaller side of medium. The sisters are looking for a family that will never dump them again!

Story
Viola is a beautiful soul that we think is about 3 year old  and a Beagle mix girl. This black and white beauty with adorable speckled legs and a sweet She only weighs 20 lbs and has the sweetest smile and absolutely loves people. She was found as a stray that was taken to the shelter very scared and almost shutdown while there. Her human mother died and Viola is now 5 years old. Unfortunately we don’t really know her story, but we feel there is some trauma there in her past. It takes her a little bit to get used to people and even longer for dogs. She wants a safe place to observe (wire crate suggested)  till she figures it out. Her foster kept her behind a gate and her bed was her safe place. For a few days she would growl through the gate at the other dogs but after that it was over. We would leave the gate open and she would venture out and if she got nervous she would go back to her safe place. She is never ugly to the other dogs at her foster and  if one of the Chihuahuas was mean to her,  she just ignored her. We have her using puppy pads because there is  no fenced yard. Viola would definetly need a fenced yard so she can safely explore and have potty breaks. The outdoors makes her nervous still. She loves her people immensely and adores  kids but older ones are best.  If you want to help and REALLY rescue a dog them Viola would be forever indebted to you.    If you are interested please email at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm
