Story
Byron is as cute as they come! This short-legged pup is excited for his fresh start. At 6-months-old, Byron has plenty of pep and is looking for a family that can provide him with plenty of daily exercise, play, enrichment, and socialization. He really likes being outside and is an excellent walker. We don't know if Byron's ever lived with other dogs or cats, so any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. He will likely do well with older kids who are comfortable around wiggly, active puppies. If you're ready to add some puppy and fun to your life and home, make an adoption appointment to meet Byron today! #playful #activelifestyle

Story
Jack was our first baby. We adopted him from the Seattle Humane Society when he was estimated to be 1. He was found on the streets of LA as a stray although we believe he was someone’s pet. He was house trained and knew how to sit and shake. He was the love of our lives! As our family grew, we now have 1 and 4 year old boys. Jack is amazing with kids and loves to snuggles. But he is aggressive around food and barks at every little noise. This makes it so hard for naps and bedtime. It makes it especially hard if friends come over or family unannounced. He barks so loud and whines non-stop. Jack is almost 13 and we love him so much. We think he would be better off with someone that can give him 100% of their love and attention.

Story
FosterHi! My name is Kasey and the vet thinks I’m about 10 yrs old. I am a black and tan chi mix and kind of resemble a beagle. I am a medium dog with my long legs and weigh about 20 pounds. I am doing so well in my foster home and have not had a single accident. I’ve even mastered the doggy door! I also get along well with my foster sisters and love to sleep near my foster mom in bed!I do need a little time to warm up to you, but once I do I want to be near you always! I love lounging in my kennel and naps are a must! I would love to find my forever home where I can follow my human around and get all the pets!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.March 27, 2024, 10:51 am

Story
Meet Lily! She's a playful puppy that will play with EVERY dog toy and bone put in front of her. She loves to cuddle and will let you know when she's ready to be held. She's almost fully crate trained and goes in her crate at night and anytime her foster leaves the house. She's being potty trained and will always go potty whenever she's taken outside, but has the occasional accident inside if not monitored. Shes great with other dogs and is very submissive. She would love to have a dog brother or sister but would be happy with a human brother or sister as well she has been around pigs and chickens and is good around them also. She would make a great addition to anyone's family! Lily’s about 8 weeks old and 6 pounds.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Mollie! 🐶💕She was rescued from a Mass Dog Slaughterhouse with other 101 friends at the end of July. Mollie may need help to learn how to behave in a home environment. At first, Mollie did not know how to eat treats. She now even chews a lubber mat in the bottom of her cage. 😊 She always lays her head on the top of her feeding bowl and patiently waits for her kibble. Do you know how cute Mollie is when she peeks out from her cage to see the outside world? It is her signature pose! 🐶❣️ Even though Mollie is energetic, she was so scared when she first stepped out from her cage. She even had to be carried from her first walk since she was frozen during her walk. But now? She eagerly waits for her walking time with a volunteer and explores the nature. If she senses that the volunteer is exhausted, she takes a break from walking and waits for the volunteer to be re-energized. How sweet our Mollie is! 🐕 With a black magic cape she is wearing, Mollie would steal your heart right away. She is ready for any and all adventures ahead of her. Can you be the lucky one who can continue a life journey with this precious girl?🙏

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Noah! He is a 4-year-old, 22lb Beagle/Dachshund mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Noah is a sweet dog that is very treat motivated, however, takes him a while to trust people. He is very uncertain in new situations and will need patience in allowing him to open up and feel comfortable. Noah loves to go on walks and has a lot of spunky energy once he opens up. He would thrive in a home that takes him on daily walks and/or has a large yard for him to run around. We are looking for a quiet home for him and are recommending no small children as he is learning to trust again. Noah is UTD vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.
