He’s the kind of pup who wants to be wherever you are—especially if there’s a blanket involved (cold weather is not his thing). • 2 years old and full of gentle charm • Fully house trained • Walks nicely on a leash • Knows his basic obedience • Friendly with dogs and cats • Wonderful with kids • Dislikes cold weather (professional blanket thief) • Expert-level cuddler and lap snuggler He’s affectionate, easygoing, and happiest when he’s warm, loved, and curled up next to his favorite humans. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow with Beagle ears and a cuddle quota, this boy is ready to steal your heart. All dogs listed for adoption are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered - or will be when old enough. All of this is included in the adoption fee.

Liberty and Honor were born at the rescue on 5/22/25 to momma Daisy, who was pulled from the Fresno shelter pregnant. Honor is timid at first but quickly becomes your best buddy. He like to be where the people are and will get anxious and vocal when alone. He is good with other dogs but would do fine being an only dog. He is a cuddle bug with adults but has been afraid of children. Not sure how he does with cats. He needs all the things puppies need; potty training, leash walking and further socialization! To request an adoption application, email smidgetrescue@hotmail.com Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. She was our daughters companion dog during collage and after covid,with her employment now she travels and can not take care of her for Chulas needs. Chula is an indoor dog only. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mrs. Puff is a resilient sweetheart with an abundance of love to share. Estimated to have been born around January 3, 2021, she has already overcome a battle with heartworms and was successfully treated. Mrs. Puff was briefly adopted, only to be returned through no fault of her own when a new "fluffy" canine housemate didn't warm up to her.   She has lots of love to give and absolutely loves to play in the play yard. Mrs. Puff tends to favor women and would do great as an only dog or in a home with just one other canine companion. Her adoption fee is $250.   If you are interested in meeting this loving girl and potentially offering her a forever home, please complete an application on the A Doggie 4 You website at www.adoggie4you.org.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. Sammie ended up with me when someone could no longer afford to care for her. She became part of our big brood and eventually she was the only one left. She is playful and a great companion. She does not travel well and I don’t want to put her through the stress of a cross country trip. I had a new home set up for her but that fell through and now we’re in a tight time crunch.
