NAME: Jenny Slate AGE/GENDER: Baby (born 6/2/2022), Female BREED: Beagle TEMPERAMENT: Playful and mischievous WEIGHT: 20 pounds HOUSE TRAINING: TBD CRATE TRAINING: Good, she's young and trainable! OTHER DOGS: TBD CATS: TBD CHILDREN: TBD ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00  HEALTH: Jenny Slate is healthy! Prior to adoption, puppies will be altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Puppies are given vaccination boosters in our care; however, adoptive families will be responsible for the remaining vaccinations that puppies need. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs.  HISTORY: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Jenny Slate is a sweet girl who will need someone who can build her trust and help her heal from her early days where she was mistreated. She is terrified to be on a leash. She's shown what a loving little girl she is in her new foster home, but will need continued work and love.   Jenny is a puppy so she's playful and has a lot of puppy energy! She is super cute and fun, but a lot of work. Her forever family should be committed to lots of training - obedience, housetraining, and socialization. This will ensure that she grows into a confident, well behaved adult! Puppies' personalities are dependent on their environment, and the structure and training they are given, in addition to socialization. Their personalities continue to grow and be shaped by their new adoptive families. Puppy daycare and socialization classes or puppy kindergarten are highly recommended for their personal development. She will more than reward you for all your hard work with lots of love, loyalty, and laughs.   All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs.   Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization that is run by volunteers. Motley Zoo does not have a brick and mortar shelter location. Instead, all our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. Please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application and we will work toward approving you as an adopter with our rescue so that we can set a time for you to meet!   For more information, please visit www.motleyzoo.org.   Thank you for considering adopting a dog in need!   Woof,   The Motley Zoo CrewJune 6, 2023, 11:42 pm

Story
Looking for love and laughter? Meet adorable Annie!! Annie is a darling, 4 year old, 19 lb. beagle with the sweetest disposition. She loves to love her humans and play with fur friends. Annie does well with dogs similar in size or bigger. She has lived with dog savvy cats but will chase initially. Annie doesn't mind staying home when you're at work however she prefers shorter work hours (ideally, work from home, work from home/office hybrid, part-time) and having companionship is a MUST!! She is shy at first but once your trust is established, she gives her all. Annie is active, energetic, playful and is also ready to chill on your lap for a quiet evening. She is the perfect size, potty trained, crate trained (although she is not a fan). She is a smart girl, sensitive, a gentle-spirit. Annie was a previous breeding dog so the outside world, leash walks can be overwhelming but nonetheless, she loves to go on adventures. A quiet, rural areas is ideal for Annie's perfect lifestyle! Having breed specific experience and knowledge is required. Annie would be a great addition to an active family, older children (14+), who have another fur companion, a single family residence with a secured fenced yard - no condos/townhomes/apartments as she needs to burn off energy. She gives her affection freely with her love languages being touch and words of affirmation. Her shiny, healthy coat is attributed to a high quality diet, daily joint supplement, fish oil and probiotic. Other tidbits: Embark DNA - 100% beagle, not a howler or barker, loves belly rubs, does eat quickly (uses a raised slow bowl) and is treat motivated. To apply, please complete the application on our website: https://hearts4doxiesrescue.org Annie is fostered in Bonney Lake, WA (meet and greets will be held in this area).

Story
Meet Gordon! He has an adorable beagle face on a corgi body! He's just as sweet as he is cute, and he will steal your heart so fast. He's very affectionate, and he loves being pet and being around other dogs. He certainly doesn't act his age! Gordon may be 11 years old, but he hasn't slowed down. He weighs in at 23 pounds, and he's a low rider. He's been such a good boy at the rescue, and we'd love for him to find a forever home to cherish his golden years and show him real love!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or $200 for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as ''Out of Town'' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.June 7, 2023, 10:07 am

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Animal Profile: Samantha is an estimated 10-month-old, 15 lb spayed female Beagle mixed breed from Kauai Humane Society. According to the shelter, she is super friendly with dogs and a bit shy with people. More info to come as we get to know her in foster care.  Foster Update: Who wants to add a sweet Sammy dog to their pack?    Sammy is very sweet and affectionate. While she would do great in a household with another balanced dog who could help build her confidence, she has come a long way in becoming more confident and could be an only dog in a home where someone is  around most of the time.  She is doing great with potty training and would love to go to a home with someone who works from home or isn’t away for the entire day. She is very playful and loves to get belly rubs and give kisses.   Sammy LOVES to play! She loves to chew on rubber bones, squeaky toys, and plushies. She is gentle with her toys and doesn’t destroy them. She also loves to run after frisbees in the backyard and play with my resident dogs. Her run is very cute and she looks like a hopping bunny when she runs. Sammy rides great in a car, and is working on her leash training-- she is much more confident when walking with another dog. Sammy also does well in her  crate. And she's good with kids!  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was originally transferred from a high-kill shelter in Hawaii and joined us from Kauai Humane Society rescue partner, arriving to Seattle on Friday March 17, 2023. She will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.June 7, 2023, 7:47 pm
