Story
Hutla, smaller malinois mix, 48 lb, female, spayed, 1 yoHutla is a beautiful, sweet, waggy, happy girl. She looks like a very small shepherd, she is young, playful,  obedient and trainable.  She was abandoned in the fields and showed up one night at someone's farm with her mom Ursa. Needs to be guided with  patience gentleness as she is young and often acts puppy-like. She is loving and cuddly. She is rather friendly and submissive with the other dogs, but gets nervous at first and needs proper introduction. Better with the male dogs. Good on a leash. Needs a fenced yard with 6' fence. Adoption fee $325. If interested, please submit an adoption or foster application at http://www.sanNicolaDogRescue.com      March 30, 2025, 7:55 pm

Story
Ursa, 2-3 yo, malinois, 56 lb, spayed femaleUrsa showed up one night at someone's farm with her puppy Hutla, apparently abandoned. She is gorgeous, loyal, a lot of love and rather calm and cooperative. She is good with another friendly male dog and her puppy Hutla who used to hide under her at first. However malinois are more like shepherds and should be on a leash around stranger dogs. She needs a secure yard with 6' fence. If interested, pleas submit an adoption application at  http://sannicoladogrescue.com    March 30, 2025, 7:55 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. AdoptaGSD.org   Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. .Koda has finally arrived! He was held back from his litter because he had injured his leg. His new foster says  Smart, cuddly and loyal. Really protective of the house and yard towards males for some reason  Notes from previous foster...Meet Koda!! This boy is so sweet and smart! He currently is being fostered in a home with both large and small dogs and a cat. He gets along great with everyone.     I work from home and so Koda spends most days in a play pen in my office where he is a good boy and sleeps most of the time. I usually take him out at lunch for some playing with toys and his foster sisters.  In the evening  he loves to run and play but he also loves to cuddle up and sleep. He has figured out our doggy door and as long as he has access to the doggy door he lets himself out 95% of the time to potty.    He does like to sleep in bed with us but he has also been kenneled overnight. He will whine sometimes when he first goes in his kennel but then settles right down. He really prefers the space of the play pen over the small kennel space, but who wouldn’t like a little extra space.    He is an excellent car rider. He just lays quietly on his blanket and sleeps.  Approximate birth date 9/17/2025 . Adoption fee is $300 plus adopter pays for neuter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Although we do our best to keep our adoptable animals page as current as possible, the animals you see may already be in an adoption process.   January 18, 2026, 10:54 am

What’s the first thing you think when you see Roxy? “Whoa… those are some crazy eyes.” Same. But trust us those eyes have seen a lot. Eyes that came minutes away from being euthanized. And now? They suit her perfectly, because Roxy is crazy in all the best ways: - Crazy smart Roxy has classic puppy energy and is still learning how to channel it but in a short time she already knows sit and lay down, is great in a kennel, and is mostly potty trained. With continued training, we’re 100% confident she’ll be an incredibly smart, loyal best friend for an experienced owner. - Crazy friendly Cats? Dogs? Kids? Men? Women? Yes to all. She can be a bit of a bull in a china shop, so she may not be ideal for very small kids but she truly loves everyone she meets. - Crazy athletic She walks well on leash, hops right into the car, and is ready to be your adventure ride-or-die. Hiking, running, exploring there’s no active hobby we can imagine that she wouldn’t love doing right by your side. So if you’re looking to adopt a high-energy, fiercely loyal best friend, Roxy may be your gal. Roxy is being fostered in Houston Texas but is available for adoption many places across the country. Adoption fee includes the cost of transport.December 25, 2025, 10:44 am
