Story
Walks: He is energetic, but does not do great on a leash, it makes him nervous and he will bite at the lead.  Crate: He doesn't like going in and out of crates, he often gets scared and will not leave easily when put inside.  Other animals: Loves other dogs and learns well with them around, very playful especially in open areas. Likes cats, tries to play with them but may get a bit rough due to size difference, though he will not hurt them. No experience with other animals.  Potty training: Learning very well, usually does cute nose pokes when he needs to be let out, but has occasional accidents in the house.  Trooper is sweet and playful, but he is very shy and needs to be given time and patience to warm up, may do better with another dog to play with and learn from. ##2631429##

Ursa, 2-3 yo, malinois, 56 lb, spayed femaleUrsa showed up one night at someone's farm with her puppy Hutla, apparently abandoned. She is gorgeous, loyal, a lot of love and rather calm and cooperative. She is good with another friendly male dog and her puppy Hutla who used to hide under her at first. However malinois are more like shepherds and should be on a leash around stranger dogs. She needs a secure yard with 6' fence. Story
Belgian malinois,  Siberian husky and German Shepherd -- need I say more?   Belgian (intelligent, agile and motivated).  Husky (stubborn, energetic and talkative). German Shepherd (loyal, mouthy, highly trainable)- is a perfect combination of all his breeds.     Monkey is a true example of dedication to his person. Even after knowing his foster mom briefly, he will lean into her, stare at her lovingly and await her commands. He is initially shy with people and dogs, and he vocalizes with a woo, woo woo, and a little growl. His ruff will come up, and then his tail wags, and his excitement shines through and he loves a new buddy to play with. Take him on a car ride and he will jump in and lay down like the bestest boy. He is quiet and unconcerned with the path, but happy to be along for the ride. Monkey has done well with a jumpy nippy puppy, a bossy, mommy figure, and even the dogs bigger than him who just wanna play. He’s approximately 70 pounds and almost 8 months so he has some growing to do but this sweet baby just wants some love. He needs some fine-tuning with his training but his demonstrated a desire to do what is asked and will do it enthusiastically.   Monkey is house trained, doggie door trained and will sleep alone peacefully (or in a human bed preferably).  Monkey has been shuffled around his entire short life but is looking for an active person to commit to forever.  He is fostered in Colorado Springs  ##2472988##

Story
Looking for a Loyal and Lovable Companion? Meet Moon, a loving rescue dog ready to be a part of someone's family! Moon is a 4 year old Shepherd/Lab mix. She’s a little chunky lol but should weigh about 60 pounds once she loses a couple pounds :) She is super sweet and a happy dog with a heart full of love. She is affectionate and friendly. She enjoys giving kisses, playtime, car rides, going on walks or cuddling with her humans. Moon is a medium energy dog who is a really good girl. Moon is potty trained if taken out regularly and is doing well with crate training. She's dog friendly tho unknown about cats. She does great with kids and is a very friendly pup. She's a cute girl, who is smart and learns quickly. She is a snuggle bug, who will love you forever, be a loyal companion and eager to please.. Moon's backstory: Moon's owner died unexpectedly and none of the family would take Moon or her 14 year old fur sister Sunny - they ended up at a kill shelter in Southern Colorado. Sunny is also available for a furever foster (due to age) and we’d love them to go to the same home but they would also do well in their own homes. Story
It breaks our hearts, but we need to find a wonderful new home for two amazing German Shepherd brothers from the same litter that have been together their entire lives, so staying together would be ideal. About Them: 8 years old males, neutered Healthy with consistent vet care and records available Up-to-date on vaccinations Well-mannered, social, crate trained Great with children and dogs of all sizes Have not been around cats, so unsure about compatibility Loyal, affectionate, and protective in the typical German Shepherd way * Crank loves belly rubs while Ghost loves behind his ears * They both love long walks, hiking, and fetch! They are wonderful companions who enjoy being around their people and would do best in a home that can give them attention, stability, and love during this transition. We are looking for a loving responsible, committed home, maybe with experience with large breeds, where they can continue to thrive together safely.
