******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you area not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Sarge is a neutered 2 year old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix currently being fostered in Denver, CO. Sarge is an outgoing, playful, and affectionate boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for fun. He is smart, curious, and full of energy, and he thrives when he has opportunities to play, explore, and be active with his people. Sarge loves other dogs and is always eager to make friends. He will happily nudge a dog to invite them to play and enjoys running and tug of war, especially with dogs his size or larger. While he gets excited and may pull toward dogs on leash, he is not aggressive and does well with slow, proper introductions. He is great at picking up on cues and will back off when another dog is done playing. Sarge has a moderate to high energy level and would do best in an active home. He would love daily walks, hikes, playtime, and mental stimulation. A fenced yard would be a big bonus, but he could also thrive with a family committed to keeping him exercised. He would do well with or without another dog in the home. On leash, Sarge could use some continued training. He is strong and tends to pull, but he responds well to guidance and does great with a gentle leader. He is fully house trained and crate trained, sleeping in his crate overnight and when his people are out. He can also be trusted with free roam, as he is not destructive. Sarge is a total lovebug with people. He is very cuddly, affectionate, and happy to greet new friends, though he may jump a bit when excited. He loves toys and proudly hoards them, lining them up one by one like treasured possessions. One of his cutest habits is doing a full somersault onto his dog bed after running inside. Sarge would be an amazing match for an active person or family looking for an adventure buddy. Older kids or dog savvy children would be best since he can be jumpy when excited. With continued leash training, plenty of toys, and lots of outdoor time, Sarge will be a loyal, joyful companion. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him? Story
Meet Bo Breed: Belgian Malinois / Mastiff Mix Sex: Male DOB: August 3, 2022 Weight: 70 Pounds Health: Healthy and doing well Bo is a handsome, intelligent boy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This energetic Malinois/Mastiff mix combines the loyalty and devotion of both breeds with a playful spirit that makes every day feel like an adventure. Sadly, Bo has become one of the rescue’s long-timers, patiently watching other dogs leave for their forever homes while he continues to wait for someone to notice him. He deserves the chance to finally leave the shelter behind and start the life he’s been hoping for. Personality Bo is affectionate, loyal, and full of joyful energy. He loves interacting with people and thrives on connection and companionship. His playful personality keeps life fun, whether he’s enjoying a walk, learning something new, or simply spending time close to his humans. Bo forms strong bonds and becomes deeply devoted to the people he trusts. His sweet nature and loving heart make him a wonderful companion who truly wants to be part of a family. Breed Info A Belgian Malinois and Mastiff mix combines intelligence, strength, and loyalty. Malinois are known for their sharp minds, trainability, and desire to work closely with their owners, while Mastiffs bring calm confidence and deep devotion to their families. Dogs with this mix tend to be incredibly loyal and thrive when given both mental stimulation and physical activity. With structure and engagement, they become deeply bonded companions who love being involved in daily life. Owner Responsibilities Bo already has a foundation of basic training, but like many intelligent dogs, he will benefit from continued training and mental enrichment. Regular exercise such as daily walks, play sessions, and activities that challenge his mind will help keep him happy and balanced. Positive reinforcement training will strengthen the bond between Bo and his adopter while helping him continue to grow into a confident, well-mannered companion. ⚠️ Things to Consider Before adopting Bo, it’s important to think about your long-term lifestyle and stability. Are pets allowed where you live now and in the future? If you move, will Bo move with you? Do you have the time each day to provide exercise, engagement, and companionship? Are you financially prepared for routine veterinary care, food, and unexpected medical needs? Dogs like Bo deserve a home that is committed to them for life. Vet Care Even though Bo is healthy, adopters should establish care with their own veterinarian soon after adoption. This helps ensure preventative care continues properly and provides a trusted medical partner for Bo’s long-term health and well-being. Understanding the 3-3-3 Rule Like most rescue dogs, Bo will need time to adjust to his new home. The first 3 days he may feel unsure as he decompresses from the transition. The first 3 weeks he will begin learning your routine and feeling more secure. By 3 months, his confidence will grow and his full personality will shine. Patience and consistency during this adjustment period will help Bo thrive. Why Bo? Bo has waited patiently for someone to see the amazing dog he truly is. He is loyal, playful, intelligent, and full of love to give. Long-timer dogs like Bo often become the most devoted companions because they know what it means to finally be chosen. The family who gives Bo his forever home will gain a faithful friend who will stand by their side through every adventure. Story
Gabby is very sweet but quite shy. She is cautious and can be scared of new things such as unfamiliar places, people, and dogs. She does warm up over time, but it takes her a while to feel safe and start playing. When she gets scared, she may try to hide. Gabby is crate trained and feels safe in her crate. She will sometimes cry a little when she wants to be let out, but overall she is not very vocal at this stage. She is still learning potty training and it is taking her some time, but she is very motivated by treats. She has no food aggression and absolutely loves her foster sister, although she doesn’t quite understand the concept of personal space yet. If placed in a home with other dogs, they should be non-aggressive and very patient with her while she gains confidence. Gabby does have plenty of energy when she feels comfortable and wants to play, but she is also calm and enjoys cuddling once she feels safe. She doesn’t bite much, except occasionally when she gets very playful and forgets she isn’t playing with her brother. Gabby is sensitive and can get very scared if voices are raised, so she will do best with calm, gentle training. ##2667791##

Story
Meet Evie Female DOB: February 3, 2021 Weight: 50 lbs Breed: German Shepherd Spayed (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Evie has been waiting… and she is more than ready to finally be chosen. Since coming into the rescue in 2022, Evie has watched others find their homes while she patiently holds onto hope. Through it all, she has remained the same loving, gentle, and loyal dog—never losing her kind heart or her desire to be close to people. Personality Evie is sweet, affectionate, and deeply loyal. She loves being around her people and thrives on connection. She enjoys walks, playtime, and quiet moments at home, making her a wonderful balance of active and calm. She is already trained and well-mannered, making her an easy companion who understands how to be part of a home. Training & Behavior House trained Leash trained Well-mannered in a home environment Thrives with routine and structure Breed Info As a German Shepherd, Evie carries traits of: Intelligence and strong trainability Deep loyalty and connection to her family A need for structure, engagement, and companionship German Shepherds are known for being devoted, responsive, and highly bonded dogs who thrive when included in daily life. Ideal Home Evie would do best in a home with older children who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. She can do well with medium to large dogs with proper introductions but is not suited for homes with cats or small animals due to natural instincts. A stable, structured home where she is included as part of the family will help her thrive. Owner Responsibilities Evie will need daily exercise, including walks and mental engagement to keep her balanced and happy. She benefits from continued structure, routine, and positive reinforcement training, even with her solid foundation. Her adopter should be committed to: Providing daily care, exercise, and companionship Maintaining her training and structure Including her as an indoor family member Offering consistency, patience, and lifelong commitment Things to Consider Evie is best suited for a home without small children, where her space and comfort can be respected. She is also not a match for homes with cats or small animals, but she has the potential to do well with appropriately matched dogs her size. As a long-term rescue dog, she may need time to fully settle, but with patience and consistency, she will build trust and thrive. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With love and patience, Evie will truly blossom. Veterinary Care Evie is fully vetted and in good health. We recommend continuing care with your veterinarian for: Routine wellness exams Preventative care (flea, tick, heartworm) Vaccination updates Ongoing health monitoring Consistent veterinary care will help ensure she stays healthy long-term. Important Note Evie is an indoor family dog. She is not to be chained or left outside.
