Since coming into the rescue in 2022, Evie has watched others find their homes while she patiently holds onto hope. Through it all, she has remained the same loving, gentle, and loyal dog—never losing her kind heart or her desire to be close to people. Personality Evie is sweet, affectionate, and deeply loyal. She loves being around her people and thrives on connection. She enjoys walks, playtime, and quiet moments at home, making her a wonderful balance of active and calm. She is already trained and well-mannered, making her an easy companion who understands how to be part of a home. Ideal Home Evie would do best in a home with older children who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. She can do well with medium to large dogs with proper introductions but is not suited for homes with cats or small animals due to natural instincts. A stable, structured home where she is included as part of the family will help her thrive. Owner Responsibilities Evie will need daily exercise, including walks and mental engagement to keep her balanced and happy. She benefits from continued structure, routine, and positive reinforcement training, even with her solid foundation.
