Story
Meet Maple  Maple’s story begins with quiet bravery. At just about a year or two old herself, this young rez dog was doing everything she could to protect her nine tiny puppies while living on the streets. When she discovered an abandoned dog house on a nearby property, she seized the little bit of shelter it offered. One by one, she carried each puppy into the rugged, makeshift structure , determined to give them whatever safety she could from the cold, windy weather outside . It wasn’t much — but to Maple, it was hope. When we learned about her situation, we organized a rescue crew and drove out to bring Maple and her babies to safety . She greeted us with a mix of exhaustion and relief, trusting us enough to let us help her family. Now warm, safe, and cared for, Maple is thriving. She’s doing a marvelous job raising her puppies , showing the kind of devotion and gentleness that makes her truly special. Our best guess on Maple's breed is Belgian Malinois/Shepherd and since she is a rez dog, probably many other breeds. Malinois and Shepherds are a working breeds and do best with an experienced owner.. Here are some of the things to consider. They are highly intelligent..Once they put their mind to it, they can excel at almost anything they do; they will even try outsmarting you sometimes. They need a strong and confident owner who knows how to be a pack leader; otherwise, they will dominate the household.Given their intelligence and eagerness to please their owners, Shepherds and Malinois are relatively easy to train. They can generally learn a new command within 5–15 repetitions. The Belgian Malinois makes an incredible watchdog and they won’t hesitate to alert you when they spot a stranger. Like most dogs, they thrive off routine and consistency and having a job to do. There are many activities you can do to provide appropriate physical and mental stimulation. Regular walks and hikes, nose work, fetch games, and canine sports will provide what they need and are vital to their happiness. If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2612793##

Frijole is a super cute girl with a smart mind and a playful spirit. She loves to explore, learn, and have fun, whether that’s chasing toys, playing games, or showing off how clever she is. Her happy energy and adorable looks make her impossible to resist. She can be vocal when alone or when meeting other dogs, but she did well at dog barks with her previous owner! If you’re looking for a playful, smart pup with a whole lot of cuteness, Frijole might be the perfect fit.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. AdoptaGSD.org   Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. .Koda has finally arrived! He was held back from his litter because he had injured his leg. His new foster says  Smart, cuddly and loyal. Really protective of the house and yard towards males for some reason  Notes from previous foster...Meet Koda!! This boy is so sweet and smart! He currently is being fostered in a home with both large and small dogs and a cat. He gets along great with everyone.     I work from home and so Koda spends most days in a play pen in my office where he is a good boy and sleeps most of the time. I usually take him out at lunch for some playing with toys and his foster sisters.  In the evening  he loves to run and play but he also loves to cuddle up and sleep. He has figured out our doggy door and as long as he has access to the doggy door he lets himself out 95% of the time to potty.    He does like to sleep in bed with us but he has also been kenneled overnight. He will whine sometimes when he first goes in his kennel but then settles right down. He really prefers the space of the play pen over the small kennel space, but who wouldn’t like a little extra space.    He is an excellent car rider. He just lays quietly on his blanket and sleeps.  Approximate birth date 9/17/2025 . Adoption fee is $300 plus adopter pays for neuter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Although we do our best to keep our adoptable animals page as current as possible, the animals you see may already be in an adoption process.   January 18, 2026, 10:54 am

Story
*Currently fostered in Houston Texas, available for out of state adoptions via rescue transportation. Video meet and greet available prior to commitment* This dog is a collaborative effort between Moka's Mission and Houston Chow Chow Connection. Mocha is a fluffy mixed pup just eager to find her new lease in life. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas just moments before being euthanized. She is believed to be around 4 years old, and based on behaviors definitely has GSD, Chow Chow, and even possibly husky mixed in her as well. Current weight around 65, 70 lbs. Mocha is a smiling, eager to please, extremely intelligent pup who clearly has been desperate for reaching a potential that was never offered to her prior. She loves to play with toys now, ( was unfamiliar with on arrival) and can be quirky, and vocal during her playful bouts. A game of tug which result in some head pats is her favorite. She also is very smart, and when given attention and motivation is quick to learn. She already knows several basic commands including sit, shake, kennel, wait, settle, and leave it. She is extremely versatile and once she trusts you, will give you her best. If you want to go hiking or exercise, she is all about it. If you want a pup to relax in the home and enjoy a movie day, she is ready! She loves to curl up on the couch or at your feet when it's time to settle down, but when it's time to go she is the first one to be there and ready for you. She also loves to keep you company while you do the most menial house chore's such as laundry or dishes. Mocha clearly was kept away from other dogs and animals when she was owned previously, so we do think she'd be best as an only pup. Proper continued socialization training would be required in order for her to eventually be able to share space with other dogs, but she would need to be socialized as an only dog first before considering adding another in. She clearly has a desire to want to know other dogs and can walk by them and flirt while on leash just fine during walks. However, she hasn't had enough time and proper playmates to engage in playtime at present without being rough. Unfortunately, she is not ok with cats, which is to be expected of the breeds she possesses. Mocha is fully vetted meaning she is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and on monthly prevention for flea, tick, and heartworm. Her adoption fee and transport is dependent on services used. For more information on Mocha, please contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com, or to apply for adoption please fill out an application here: https://form.jotform.com/41173109602142
