Story
Rocky is a wonderful 1 year old pup who’s as smart as he is loving. He is highly intelligent, eager to learn, and full of energy; the perfect companion for an active person. He has grown up with another dog and two young children, and he does great with both. Rocky is e-collar trained, knows his basic commands and is completely house broken. We love him dearly, but he needs more activity and mental stimulation than we are currently able to provide. He would do best with a family that has plenty of room for him to stretch his legs, ideally a home with land or a large yard and people who enjoy adventures as much as he does. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and energetic companion who will keep up with your hikes, runs, and daily fun, Rocky will be the perfect fit.

Story
Hutla, smaller malinois mix, 48 lb, female, spayed, 1 yoHutla is a beautiful, sweet, waggy, happy girl. She looks like a very small shepherd, she is young, playful,  obedient and trainable.  She was abandoned in the fields and showed up one night at someone's farm with her mom Ursa. Needs to be guided with  patience gentleness as she is young and often acts puppy-like. She is loving and cuddly. She is rather friendly and submissive with the other dogs, but gets nervous at first and needs proper introduction. Better with the male dogs. Good on a leash. Needs a fenced yard with 6' fence. Adoption fee $325. If interested, please submit an adoption or foster application at http://www.sanNicolaDogRescue.com      March 30, 2025, 7:55 pm

Story
Ursa, 2-3 yo, malinois, 56 lb, spayed femaleUrsa showed up one night at someone's farm with her puppy Hutla, apparently abandoned. She is gorgeous, loyal, a lot of love and rather calm and cooperative. She is good with another friendly male dog and her puppy Hutla who used to hide under her at first. However malinois are more like shepherds and should be on a leash around stranger dogs. She needs a secure yard with 6' fence. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. AdoptaGSD.org   Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. This litter has 2 females and 6 males. They arrive Dec 3. All we know about them is their owner brought them to the shelter because he didnt want to care for them any longer. They are 8-10 weeks old. We dont know which pup is which. More after we get them into foster homes and learn a little about their personalities. Adoption fee is $300 and adoption will not be final until you get them spayed. We can provide you a list of low cost vets, but all veterinary fees will need to be covered by adopter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Although we do our best to keep our adoptable animals page as current as possible, the animals you see may already be in an adoption process.   December 2, 2025, 8:41 am
