Story
Rosie is a beautiful nine month old female Belgian Malinois mix with all the intelligence, loyalty, and intensity you would expect from this remarkable working breed. She is extremely smart, house trained, crate trained, and a devoted protector of the people she considers hers. Rosie currently knows approximately seven commands and has demonstrated an incredible capacity to learn. With consistent training and an experienced handler, she has the ability and intelligence to learn so much more. She genuinely benefits from being challenged and having something to do. Rosie is very much a working dog. She needs mental stimulation, physical activity, structure, and plenty of interaction with her person. When she becomes bored or is left without enough to do, she can become destructive, and she is an aggressive chewer. For that reason, she would thrive with an experienced handler, someone familiar with high-drive working breeds, or a person who has plenty of time to devote to training, exercise, and keeping that very busy Malinois brain occupied. Rosie has not shown aggression toward children or cats. However, because of her strength, intensity, protective nature, and high energy level, it is preferred to place her in a home without young children or cats simply out of an abundance of caution and to give Rosie the best opportunity for long-term success. This is not a dog who will be happy spending her life lounging around the house with little interaction. Rosie needs a person or family with a lot of time to devote to her and who understands what a Belgian Malinois is and will appreciate everything that comes with one. In the right hands, her intelligence, trainability, loyalty, and desire to have a job can make her an incredible companion. Story
I’ve raised Frieza since he could barely walk. He is a hyper dog and a happy one, but his excitement can be overwhelming to some. He has a really good heart. I am moving to Denver October 10th; I’m a 100% disabled veteran and cannot take care of him the way he deserves. All I ask is someone that’s patient and wouldn’t yell at him. I don’t need a fee for him just peace of mind that he is in a loving home. One that is better than I can provide.

Story
Fenrys Moonbeam is a 12 week old Belgian Malinois and is an absolute little treasure. He’s incredibly smart, snuggly, and loyal. He was born on Cinco de Mayo to Bellah and Maui and has been such a joy to foster. He enjoys doing puzzles, learning new things, and taking naps with his belly in the air. He has a bit of practice on a leash and does pretty well, and he sits like a champ! He’s clever and brave. Fenrys is crated at night and when we leave, and is socialized to chickens, ducks, other adult dogs, his siblings, cats, children, and car rides. We’ll miss him terribly, but we know he’ll be someone’s perfect buddy!

Story
Delta was a transfer from a municipal based shelter that was in proximity of the Aspen Acres Fire. Whether his old owners left him, lost him, or they realized they couldn't take him with them going forward, Delta wound up in an overcrowded space where lots of other animals were facing similar outcomes. Delta is a wonderful ambassador of his breed - he is very smart, very trainable, and he loves routines (like he enjoys hanging in his crate with the door open.) Delta loves other dogs and just wants to play - so either a canine companion of similar size and energy - or a human committed to keeping his body and his brain busy is a must. Delta has ignored chickens and other birds, as well as cats in his foster homes. Delta would be an amazing hiking partner, jogging buddy, or even just a dog that knows some basic and advanced obedience where his colors can shine. He is a lean 68lbs and could put on a little more weight - however he is not super food motivated and does not have any resource issues. In fact, we frequently have to pick up bowls that he has not completed just to keep the other dogs from grazing off of his meals throughout the day. Delta is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped with registration, dewormed, flea and tick treated, and has been provided heart worm prevention. This gorgeous guy could be your best four legged friend ever - he just needs someone to give him a chance. He knows some general obedience, but is very easy to train. Delta is crate trained and is house trained - however as he was recently neutered, at least for now while the hormones are leaving, if he is unmonitored he sometimes marks in the house. We believe this behavior will decrease and stop over the next several weeks. Delta does great with kids and does not mind being handled or having people up in his space. Delta loves walks and although he isn't an off leash canine yet, he enjoys trips to the dog park and will come when called.

Story
Tomato Soup is a sweet, spunky, and very bright 11 week old Belgian Malinois. She was born on Cinco de Mayo to Maui and Bellah and has been an absolute pleasure to foster. She loves playing, sitting for treats, and solving treat puzzles. She’s currently fostered in Colorado Springs and is looking for a family with time to dedicate to training her and keeping her busy. She’s up to date on vaccines and has been dewormed. She’s socialized to other adult dogs, her siblings, cats, chickens, ducks, and rambunctious children. She walks well on a leash and is eager to learn!
