Story

Meet Bree. She is a gentle giant around here. Good natured, calm and playful she is easy to hang out with inside the house and out. She has followed my escape artist out through a hole in the fence and all I had to do was call her and she came to the gate and trotted back in. So great recall and not really wanting to go and explore the world. She plays with the other dogs and checks in with me when I'm in or around the house. She has started to hang out at the barn while i'm feeding the horses. She is a little shyer than her sister Tig, but she is coming out of her shell as she grows up. Bree knows how to use a doggie door, is potty trained, she is up to date on her shots and spayed. She kennels up by herself for meals and sometimes sleeps in her lennel at night. It would take time and patience to get her used to being on a leash. KAYCE NEEDS A RUNNING PARTNER Kayce needs a forever home. In the last few months he has lived in a boarding facility while waiting for his forever person to find him. Before that, for almost 2yrs he has been moved around in boarding, rescue and foster homes. He’s a wonderful, loyal, smart as can be boy looking for someone that can make a commitment to him. Beautiful big boy Kayce is about 4.5yrs old and he weighs approximately 80lbs. He is a very tall boy, and he’s very athletic so a running partner would be perfect! Lots of hiking, long walks and jogging will be ideal, too. Kayce is mixed with something that gives him a curly tail. We don’t know the mix, but we do know he loves people so a large breed, shepherd experienced, social home would be best. He gets excited when he meets new people and can be very exuberant in his wiggles so no small children, please. Kayce is very selective of his female playmates and he does not like male dogs so he should be the only animal in the home. No kitties for Kayce. He is house and crate trained so he can stay home alone for a reasonable amount of time. He’s also a quiet boy that likes to relax with his person after a fun day of exercise. He can be an independent guy so he will explore and self entertain when he’s outside in a 6ft securely fenced yard. He’ll let you know when he wants to come back in by standing at the back door so he can come in to get a treat and then relax for awhile. Duke is a 9 month Belgian Malinois male. Duke has many great qualities. He is super smart and is able to show great emotion. He’s proficiently learned many commands and does really well listening in public. He is crate trained and house trained. Though, he can be quite sneaky, but that is just part of his intelligence. He is very loving, he looks for attention and cuddles from those he trusts. Duke is able to trust easily due to being a gentle sensitive soul. When it comes to play time and going on a walk Duke is the first one out the door. He is incredibly trainable and food driven, which allows for a lot of great room and opportunity for him to learn many more commands that will help him reach his full potential.

This ~2-year-old, ~55-pound, spayed and vaccinated beauty might do well in dog sports or activities requiring energy, drive, speed, and agility. Good for a hiker or runner.While her energy is high, Shirley has a sweet, soft side. Crates well at night and would love to sleep by your side. Still a puppy, she is under-attended in the back yard of her elderly foster, who is too frail to exercise her and can't bring her inside other than to sleep in a crate.We don’t know whether she’d get along with all dogs, but she's good with friendly dogs and loves to play. Apollo is extremely loyal to his family members and just wants to always be within eye sight of you. He is very chill indoors until a stranger comes to the door then he gets very protective, Apollo is friendly when out in public but protective when at home. He loves to play fetch and will do it until he gets too tired. We are moving to where our family business is and it will not be a proper environment to have a dog with his distrust of strangers. He will make a terrific companion to someone who is home most of the day that maybe lives on some property where strangers don’t walk up unannounced. He’s a fantastic guard dog. He is fine with people after he gets introduced but it requires a proper introduction with him before he feels comfortable. If interested I can go more into his temperment. I Found her roaming around my neighbor hood at night and took her in. Found out it was my neighbors whom was looking for someone to take care of her. Previous owner says she was origionally a farm dog before being put in a home in the city. I believe she's 2 1/2 years old now and the best way I can describe her is as follows: Hyper and very active, food motivated, loves to play fetch, understands basic commands, crate trained, curious, friendly, fast learner, loyal, seperation anxiety, jumper, takes baths really well. Bowie is a 1.6-year adorable German Shepherd mix who is the sweetest, snuggliest, goofiest little lover boy and aspiring lap dog. Bowie LOVES his humans and likes to give and receive all the kisses and snuggles. Coming in at 58lbs, he is a great size and will make the perfect med sized adventure buddy! He is a happy boy who loves to play outside in the yard and sniff all the smells, but also knows when it’s time to settle down inside. He’s a great work from home partner! He loves to chase with his humans, play with his ball, go after his teaser wand toy, and all the BELLY RUBS. This handsome guy has beautiful all-over auburn coloring accented with a black snout, white chest, white tippy toes and natural eyeliner and eyelashes that will be the envy of all the ladies, plus the cutest ear standing at attention at all times. He’s a real heartthrob! He gets along great with other dogs and would love it if you had another but not necessary for him to be happy. Bowie is house trained, has great house manners, loves car rides and is an excellent passenger. Bowie completed obedience school and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and wait. He is continuing to work on his basic commands and leash manners. Bowie would thrive in a home with another dog and stay/work at home human. He would also love an active family that enjoys walks, hikes or just snuggling by your side.
