Like most puppies, he's full of energy and curiosity. He’s agile, smart, and absolutely loves toys—especially balls and ropes. His favorite activities include playing with his siblings and enjoying a good meal. Twigg gets along well with both older and younger dogs and is friendly with children. His behavior around cats is currently unknown. About Twigg Twigg’s journey to safety began in Salto, Jalisco, when we received a call about a litter of abandoned puppies. He and his four siblings were found inside a plastic bag, and we rushed to bring them to safety. After a period of quarantine and care, Twigg and three of his siblings survived their difficult start—though sadly, one puppy didn’t make it. Twigg has since grown into a happy, healthy young dog who’s ready for a fresh start. Twigg is currently waiting in Mexico for a family to make a trial commitment so he can travel to Washington and find his forever home. He absolutely adores men and would thrive with a male handler who enjoys an active, outdoorsy lifestyle. Ugo is sweet, affectionate, and a bit of a goofball, though he can get mouthy when overstimulated; especially when competing for attention. With clear, consistent guidance, he responds well to simple corrections and is already working hard on improving his manners.
