Were looking for the right home for our incredible Belgian Malinois, Freyja. She's smart, loyal, and deeply affectionate; everything you'd want in a Malinois; but with my work schedule keeping me on the road three weeks a month, and three boys at home (including one on the autism spectrum), we simply can't give her the consistent training and attention she deserves. This has been a difficult and emotional decision for our family. Through this process, we've learned were absolutely a Malinois family, but raising and training one from scratch just isn't realistic for us right now. He’s also an excellent traveler, hopping into the car with ease and riding peacefully by your side. He adapts beautifully to home life—content, low-maintenance, and so easy to love. Meet Penny, a beautiful German Shepherd/Hound mix with a heart full of affection and a big personality to match. Penny is playful, smart, and full of life. She loves a good game of fetch (or keep away in her mind), zoomies in the yard, and her favorite; butt scratches and pets. She isvery expressive and isn't afraid to tell you how she feels with her adorable houndy vocals. She is very sweet and does fine around children but has some food aggression and would do best in home with no children. While Penny can be reactive on leash; barking and lunging at cars, animals, or people; she is a total sweetheart off-leash and thrives at the dog park with proper introductions. A leash just stresses her out, but with patience and structure, she has the potential to improve. She also does better on anti-anxiety medication to help with her stress
