What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me:- I am sweet!- I can be calm and energetic (not at the same time!)- I like pets and I know how to ask for them!- I like squeak toys, walks and playing fetch.- I would like to be in an adult only home with a nice yard to play in. - I would like to have the spotlight in the home as well. To apply for Red please visit Northwest Rescue Collective, www.northwestrescuecollective.com Adoption Fee $250 Red — a quiet soul looking for his person 🐾 Red is a sensitive boy who’s still trying to make sense of the world around him. Found wandering the streets, it’s clear life hasn’t always been easy—but he’s safe now, and starting the slow process of learning that people can be kind. Right now, Red is very shy, anxious, and unsure in new situations. He keeps to himself and needs time and space to feel safe—but underneath it all is a dog who just needs patience and someone willing to meet him where he’s at. 🐾 What we know about Red: Very shy, timid, and easily overwhelmed Anxious with new people and environments Not yet trained—will need structure and consistency Currently decompressing and learning to trust Dog, cat, and kid compatibility unknown 🏡 Ideal home: Red will do best in a calm, quiet home with a patient, experienced adopter—ideally someone familiar with working breeds like Belgian Malinois. He’ll need routine, gentle guidance, and a low-traffic environment where he can build confidence at his own pace. Red isn’t a plug-and-play dog. But for the right person, he has real potential. With time and understanding, he could become an incredibly loyal, deeply bonded companion. If you’re the kind of person who understands that trust takes time—and is willing to give it—Red is waiting. 🖤 Red is neutered, microchipped and has his DHPP and Rabies vaccines. Red is being fostered through Back Home Terrace Heights in Yakima, WA

Story
Batman is a gorgeous, happy boy who is energetic and looking for a home with a strong leader who is active and will keep him busy and engaged. His age is estimated to be 2-3 years old and he’s approximately 80-90lbs. In April, Batman was found dumped in a remote park in Snoqualmie, along with another German Shepherd mix, Robin. Batman wasn’t neutered when he was first found and had some attitude, wanting to do things on his own terms. He has since been neutered and more importantly, he’s spent quite a bit of time at board and train. He is now a total love bug but will need an owner with power breed experience that can lead him instead of letting him lead them. Batman loves the ladies, and would do well living with a female dog that he could play with. Robin, who he adores, is also available for adoption and while they can be adopted separately, they’d be happy to be back together. Batman is mostly indifferent with male dogs as long as they are not intact. He may be able to live with a male dog, but he’ll need to be tested with any dogs already in the family. With a lot of energy to burn, he’d love to be a running buddy or hiking buddy, NEVER off leash, or have a huge, fenced yard where he can play fetch with his favorite toys. He does know how to settle down and just chill too but understand, he will need his exercise or he will likely get up to no good. Batman is currently in a home with younger children and has been great with them, but they are also very dog savvy, so we recommend older children but are happy to discuss on a case by case basis. We have not yet evaluated Batman with cats other than at a distance, but he hasn’t shown any interest so far.

Story
Hello, Looking for a forever home for my sweet 5 year old purebred German Shepherd with world champion bloodline. Zeus is 95lbs of solid mass with a VERY protective yet playful personality. Zeus loves children!! Especially, little kids! Zeus is very protective over his family. My husband was walking Zeus and a pit bull ran up behind my husband and almost bit him from behind. Zeus’s quickly responsed by pinned the pit bull to the ground where the other dog couldn’t move. Zeus is 100% a protector!! You will never have to worry about the safety of your home, family or property. Zeus will let you know when someone comes by your home even before they knock on the door. Zeus is 100% house trained and has never destroyed anything in our home. Zeus isn’t destructive at all so you’ll never need to put him in a crate or cage. Zeus can watch over the home or farm for hours alone and be content. Zeus has been around other animals but with dogs it’s hit and miss if he likes the dog or not.

Story
Sol ☀️ | ~2 years | 52 lbs | Shepherd-Husky Mix If you are an experienced owner of dog breeds like Shepherd, Husky, or Malamutes, keep reading. I’m Sol. I’m a very affectionate dog who loves her people deeply. I was rescued from a high kill shelter in the nick of time. I’ve been bouncing between fosters ever since, and I’m ready to just have a place to call home. Home changes are confusing, but I have been settling in well by the 4th day! I’m currently being fostered by an amazing foster family. At home I’m easy. I’m potty and crate trained, and I’m happy just hanging on the couch after a walk. I love cuddles and bonding time with my humans. The one thing I struggle with is other dogs on leash. I get frustrated and it’s something I’m actively working on with a positive reinforcement trainer. I do well on quiet trails where I can be keep a distance from other dogs; it’s more the busy streets that are hard. But the trainer and my rescue family believes the practice on quieter trails is going to set me up for success. Whoever adopts me would just need to keep the training going and we’ll make sure you know exactly how. A dog-busy neighborhood probably isn’t the right fit at the moment. Neither an apartment. I’m hoping to find a home in a suburb, with access to trail walks. A dog sibling or friend would mean the world to me, because I love playing with dogs I connect with. I had been marching the play style of huskies and shepherds. I’ve been waiting for my person for a few months now. I hope that’s you. 📩 Contact @PawesomeBaby to start the conversation. 📸 More photos & videos: Instagram @PawesomeBaby —————————————————————————- Basic info: —————————————————————————- • Age: approx 1.5 - 2 yr • Weighs 52 lb • Potty trained at foster home. • People friendly • Dog friendly You will be adopting a dog who got the care listed below - • Spay/neuter • Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, Bordetella vaccines • Either negative fecal test or dewormed • Wellness checkup, Heartworm, blood tests • Microchip registration with AKC reunited • Lots of tender loving care at amazing foster home! • Professional training help with leash walking We are looking for adopters in Washington state or BC Canada. We may consider neighboring states AB or OR, if it’s a perfect match lifestyle and you are willing to drive. Please contact to schedule a meetup! Her adoption fee is USD 400 (CAD 500). We charge an adoption fee for our precious dogs, to make sure they go to a good home who can afford caring for them as a family member. Dog ownership is a lifetime commitment of over 10-15 yrs. Training: —————- She is getting help with leash frustrated greeting seeing dogs on walks. We are working with trainers to guide her. We’ll share all the information you need to continue the routine her foster family had been keeping. Training Resources: ————————————— Regardless of who you adopt, we recommend training your pup regularly, to build an everlasting bond with your pup and help them continue to be an amazing canine citizen. We can provide a list of reputable trainers who use positive reinforcement methods to help you establish a training protocol and an everlasting bond with your newly adopted furbaby. —————————————————————————- [IMPORTANT] —————————————————————————- Below listed requirements are for any dogs we adopt out, meant for everyone’s safety. • If you have other dogs, then you must also be knowledgeable and have good hands on experience with running a multi-dog home to be able to adopt a dog from us. What’s expected of the adopter is just keeping basic house rules like (1) keep the dogs apart when feeding, monitor & put away left over food, (2) help them build mutual trust before leaving alone with treats, toys around (3) keep dogs out of kitchen when handling food etc • As with any dog, earn their trust around food handling. This is an essential training for every dog, so they learn to trust their new human. It takes only a couple of practice sessions around meal time with most dogs with no history of food guarding. Teaching to sit, then hand-feeding food & high value treats is one of the best ways to earn trust. • If you have children at home, they should be at least 8+ yrs, and know to safely & respectfully interact with dogs, to be considered for adoption. We think families with younger children will likely not have the time needed to exercise and nourish a new dog. And the time needed to train little kids to safely interact with dogs, read their body language & respect their personal space. Most dogs do not enjoy little ones clinging to them, pulling their fur, crawling or lying on them. We do not want to risk the safety of neither your child nor our dog. Follow @dogmeets_baby trainer on Instagram to learn more on this topic :-) Of course, we understand there are exceptions and some parents are on top with this. Please contact us if you are one of those exceptional parents :) • We discourage the use of choke, pinch, prong collars on our dogs. Training to walk on a well fitted no-pull harness is encouraged. All our dogs come with a “no-pull” harness. If needed for training, you can use humane collars like regular buckle collars, martingale collars or ‘gentle leader’. For adoption process details, check out PawesomeBaby.com and send us a message here. Thank you for considering to adopt a husky in need. God bless!
