Batman is a gorgeous, happy boy who is energetic and looking for a home with a strong leader who is active and will keep him busy and engaged. His age is estimated to be 2-3 years old and he’s approximately 80-90lbs. In April, Batman was found dumped in a remote park in Snoqualmie, along with another German Shepherd mix, Robin. Batman wasn’t neutered when he was first found and had some attitude, wanting to do things on his own terms. He has since been neutered and more importantly, he’s spent quite a bit of time at board and train. He is now a total love bug but will need an owner with power breed experience that can lead him instead of letting him lead them. Batman loves the ladies, and would do well living with a female dog that he could play with. Robin, who he adores, is also available for adoption and while they can be adopted separately, they’d be happy to be back together. Batman is mostly indifferent with male dogs as long as they are not intact. He may be able to live with a male dog, but he’ll need to be tested with any dogs already in the family. With a lot of energy to burn, he’d love to be a running buddy or hiking buddy, NEVER off leash, or have a huge, fenced yard where he can play fetch with his favorite toys. He does know how to settle down and just chill too but understand, he will need his exercise or he will likely get up to no good. Batman is currently in a home with younger children and has been great with them, but they are also very dog savvy, so we recommend older children but are happy to discuss on a case by case basis. We have not yet evaluated Batman with cats other than at a distance, but he hasn’t shown any interest so far.

He's playful and full of joy, especially when there's water involved - he enjoys splashing in the pool or running through the sprinkler on a sunny day! Cliff and his siblings are 4.5 months old, born on June 24th. Cliff would make a wonderful companion for an active family who can match his playful spirit and give him plenty of love. He's a neutered male Belgian Malinois that is around 18 months old, 55 lbs, and is ready for a person to call his own. Despite his menacing name, this boy is a bundle of joy in a svelte package. Felon loves to go at full speed and would be a fantastic companion for someone looking to get into dog sports -- dock diving, barn hunt, IPO -- he wants a shot to shine! In typical Malinois form, he is highly intelligent, loyal, and athletic. He shows moderate food drive and high toy drive and is an exceptionally quick learner. He does have an off switch and is content to chill on place command with a stuffy toy, or in his crate. Felon is very friendly meeting new people and has lived with other dogs as well as cats, but will be best in a cat-free home. Felon has a strong grasp of basic obedience training including recall, place and loose leash walking. aAnimal Information: Waffles is a 1yr old neutered male Malinois mix who currently weighs 70lbs, but does need to lose a little weight! He and his littermates were left in a parking lot at Devore shelter when they were just 8 weeks old. Unfortunately the shelter was full so one of our rescue partners took the puppies home to vet them and find them families. Waffles is the last of the litter many months later, and he has been living in a trailer park with other dogs and people. We look forward to meeting him! Foster Profile:  Waffles is such a big love! He loves all people and other dogs and is quite a “leaner” so be prepared for lots of affection from this sweet boy. Waffles is crate and potty trained. He can be a little vocal when he is first settling in, so we are not considering apartments for him at this time. He’d love a home with a fence yard and a bit of room to run and play. We think Waffles  would do best  in a home with a balanced dog friend but will consider active applicants, especially with large breed experience, without another dog. Waffles is an energetic boy and would make a great running/hiking partner, but he does have a good off switch when inside and it’s time to chill. Waffles recently spent time with some younger kids and was very gentle with them. He has not lived with young kids and given his age and activity level slightly older kids, 7 and up, will likely be best. With appropriate supervision of his puppy energy and a commitment to continued training, we believe he'll make a great family dog. He's making great progress with this already! HI - I'M FREYA! I'm a sweet and gentle 2-year-old Belgian Malinois mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a crowded California shelter in the nick of time. While there, I was kenneled with another dog, and was calm and gentle. I can be shy/timid when you first meet me. But I love playing with other dogs, and I also tested great with cats! (We have videos!) I would do best with an active person or people who can take me for long walks, hikes and other outings. I weigh 55-60 lbs. What’s expected of the adopter is just keeping basic house rules like (1) keep the dogs apart when feeding, monitor & put away left over food, (2) help them build mutual trust before leaving alone with treats, toys around (3) keep dogs out of kitchen when handling food etc • As with any dog, earn their trust around food handling. This is an essential training for every dog, so they learn to trust their new human. It takes only a couple of practice sessions around meal time with most dogs with no history of food guarding.
