Story
Meet Quazi! He is an 6 month old Malinois Mix and is approximately 50lbs. Quazi is a very sweet and cuddly boy that loves to play and be active. He is still in the puppy "maligator" phase where everything needs to be explored with our mouth. He knows sit, down, come, and leave it. We are working on stay and no. He is kennel trained and potty trained. We are workimg on sleeping through the night without a midnight potty break. He loves other dogs, but does not respect their boundaries and signals to leave them alone yet. He can live with cats, but will chase and is a little nippy and food possessive around cats. He would make a great dog for bite drive sports as his favorite thing to do is play tug. He has had his femoral head osteotomy to remove his femoral head and healing is going great! He has a small limp and probably will for life, but is getting around really well so far. He would benefit from continuing rehab exercises as well as glucosamine/fish pils for life. Quazi is being fostered in San Antonio Texas and is available for transport throughout the US and Canada.

These pups are in Gig Harbor, Washington too!

Dakota is dog selective so a proper introduction must be required Good with kids? Yes Good with cats? She was around cats when she was rescued. Caution with proper introduction required. Has experience on a leash?  Yes Potty trained? Yes, clean in her area at her foster facility. Will adjust rapidly to new house rules Crate trained? No Where does the dog stay when it is alone? At the moment she has to share her space with other dogs at an outdoor boarding facility. Dakota doesn’t have her own space, but she is an independent dog that allows herself to be apart from the pack. Where does the dog sleep? At the moment she has to share her space with other dogs as her foster has other rescues at the boarding facility.  Temperament/Personality: Dakota is an adorable girl who radiates love and happiness. Her joy comes to life when playing with other dogs that had being properly introduced to her before and with her human. She's a natural explorer, brimming with energy, and she gets excited as she races around the garden at full speed. Of course, she also happily indulges in sweet naps. She's passionate about walks and treats, delighting in affectionate moments and belly rubs. Her charm extends to excellent relationships with both other dogs that had being properly introduced to her before and children. Dakota is learning to walk on a leash and do her business in the right place. What does the dog's ideal home look like? Her ideal home would be a family that loves to do outdoor activities since she is energetic and loves to explore, play and run but can also adjust to a low-key home environment as she enjoys to be by her humans side. She would do better being an only dog or she would need to be properly introduced to other dog which should be submissive and respects Dakota space. What is the dog's rescue story? The charming Dakota has overcome a challenging start, with ropes knotted around her neck and a significant weight loss, reflecting a history of mistreatment on the tough streets of Guadalajara México. Although we don't know precisely how long she endured this situation, it's evident that she suffered a great deal. However, one day, her life took an extraordinary turn when she was rescued by her guardian angel. With patience and love, Dakota regained confidence in herself and in people. Now, she enjoys days filled with joy and fun. Intelligent and observant, Dakota yearns to find an active family to share exciting adventures. Are you ready to give this lovely girl a second chance? Dakota is waiting in Mexico until a family is commited to fostering her or taking her on a trial. If you are interested, apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org his adoption fee is $550 ##1877902##
