✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Horang🐯 (Horang means Tiger in Korean) 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Heartworm negative. 2.) Rescue Story * Horang waited a long time for a family at the Cheongju City Shelter, but no one adopted her. As her holding period had expired, she was at risk of euthanasia. Fortunately, Adogs rescued her just in time. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is a bit shy and feels uncomfortable with people at first. When she gets used to them, she welcomes them, and barks happily as if displaying her feeling of intimacy! * With Dogs: Growls at new dogs at first and expresses discomfort. Recently shows her reluctance to go to where other dogs gather. Feels uncomfortable when she has to share a living space and tries to avoid going there. Does not chase after other dogs nor attack them, though. Has recently shown persistent interest in a new friend, so we are focusing on training to address the issue. * With Cats: When encountering cats on a walk, she gets very excited and runs to chase them. Sometimes shows aggressiveness at them, so caution is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Currently lives at our center, so it's hard to know for sure. * Potty Training: Is 100% outdoor potty trained, even though she is staying alone in her separate kennel. * Walks: Loves walks, especially running or trotting ones! Sometimes gets excited and pulls on the leash hard during walks. Occasionally chases after a small dog or cat as running at them. Is currently learning one by one while getting walk training! * Car Sickness: Still being observed, but so far, doesn't seem to get car sick. * Bark: When seeing other dogs go out for a walk, she sometimes barks to express her desire to go out. * Like: Loves treats and walks! * Dislike: With a lot of other dogs, she gets very uncomfortable and may become stiff due to the discomfort.

Story
**About Mini:** Thank you for your interest in adopting Mini. Please know that Mini is an international rescue through Taiwan. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, IAH, YVR, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process for many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Mini's Rescue Story Personality: Mini is absolutely the most perfect FMD (Formosan Mountain Dog) we have ever encountered. No word describes her better than "perfect." Mini was once tied up with a heavy chain outside a house. The house was empty—no one lived there. The owner had simply tied Mini and another dog there, often leaving them without food or water. Since both dogs were chained and unable to forage, they could only bark for help. It was these barks that a member of our rescue organization heard while passing by. The rescuer tried to find the owner but quickly realized the house was abandoned. Neighbors said the owner only came by occasionally. Because the dogs were chained on private property right by the door, the rescuers couldn't take them immediately, so they committed to bringing them food every day. One day, the rescuer saw Mini wandering outside alone. Unsure why she had been abandoned, Mini was just moving aimlessly, sniffing for food, and even approaching people for attention. When she saw the rescuer from a distance, Mini recognized her. She quickly ran over and immediately lay on the ground, rolling onto her belly to show affection. Knowing Mini had been deliberately abandoned, the rescuer took her home immediately. What makes Mini so incredible is how incredibly smart and friendly she is. She immediately learned to use pee pads indoors and was accurate every time. Her calm, non-confrontational, and incredibly optimistic personality means she gets along wonderfully with people (including children), cats, and other dogs! Mini's rescuer summarizes her by saying: "Goofy, great natured, and very easy to care for." This perfect personality makes her an ideal match for both first-time and experienced families. Mini spent her early life chained up and hungry. Now, she is ready to find her forever home—a home that can give her the warmth and love she has always deserved. If you are interested in Mini, please contact us anytime!

Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 Web Site: www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees, but if the potential adopter is willing to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. It’s so sad with the never ending need for dogs to be pulled off euthanasia lists in CA all day everyday. We were sent countless emails with many dogs from different shelters needing help because they were all going to be euthanized as they had run out of time. It was an extremely sad situation & still is every day. On the list at one of the shelters was Lucy. It’s brutal trying to pick who gets the opportunity to live & who doesn’t. Lucy was one of the lucky ones on this day & thank goodness we did because she is the biggest angel you will ever meet. Our beautiful Lucy will now be looking for a home to cherish her. Lucy was brought back to WA from CA & we tested her in a daycare & she did well. Lucy’s foster mum & dad said she loves to be loved. She comes up to you & puts her face on your face for kisses & has so much gratitude towards them. She is the nicest girl they said & nothing bothers her. She absolutely adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, we don’t know if this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. When a clean blanket comes out she gets so excited to go lay on it. She enjoys sleeping with her foster siblings. Lucy is wonderful with her baths & grooms as she has learnt since we got her to have them. Lucy loves to eat & is a wonderful eater now & she is not shy about that. Our vet recommended Lucy lose weight & we got her down in weight as she was previously on kibble on her other foster home but in her current foster home she is on a clean diet. She eats a clean diet of, raw proteins, fruits, vegetables a small of grains, along with different supplements & fats. She also loves collagen sticks & bully sticks. Lucy is fed by herself as she does not like other dogs coming near her food. She is a very sweet intelligent dog her foster mum said. In her current foster home she enjoys going into the backyard & sunning herself for small amounts of time only. She does walk really well on a leash. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Lucy as you can imagine spent such a long time in a caged environment. Please do not say you won’t crate her & then go & crate her, that is unacceptable. We are also looking for a forever home for Lucy where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Lucy is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. Lucy loves her dog friends so much & she enjoys being with them & has never met a dog she doesn’t like. She does not discriminate against breeds. She even loves puppies. We currently have her with other dogs in her loving foster home. Lucy needs a fully fenced backyard if it’s a freestanding house. Lucy is roughly 70 lbs, 8 years old & possibly a german shepherd but what she is mixed with we are not sure. We got Lucy a dental scale & polish & had a mass sampled & removed & it was benign. She is female, she had her shots, including DHPP, rabies & dewormed. But once these shots expire we will not redo them as we do not over vaccinate our beloved dogs & will only redo the rabies. Lucy has some arthritis due to normal aging but it does not stop her from doing anything. We have her on dasuquin. We have spent far more on Lucy with bringing her to WA with her travel costs from CA, her medical care in WA & trying to save her life etc than her adoption fee comes close to covering. We have spent roughly $2500 on this beautiful girl. Lucy has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around children so we do not recommend cats nor children but it’s always up to the adopters to responsible with their children, cats & dogs. We were not there when Lucy was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Lucy’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Lucy potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Lucy & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Lucy who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Lucy has an adoption fee of $450 & does not even come close to what we have spent on rescuing her & medically. She is now ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
