She is a sweet loving pet who knows basic commands. She is crate trained and housebroken. She gets along great with other dogs. She has not yet been cat tested. She does well around older respectful kids who don't run up on her with the element of surprise. She will be spayed, vaccinated, brought current on vaccinations and microchipped on 8/21. This gentle giant is ready for his new home. He's friendly to all creatures despite being a guarding breed. Smart happy confident and ready to please. Would love a yard to run free, home full of love and lots of treats. Good on potty training and leash training. Like all puppies he will need some training, routine, patience, consistency and a little extra energy to entertain him during his growth spurts. But no doubt he will be a loyal companion. And just look how gorgeous he is!!!!! Two precious pups living in the shelter, reached the 6-month mark with no interest thus they were on the EU list. A good Samaritan looked after them and brought them out to see what it was like in a home. She could not keep them but wanted to help promote them and help them live the life they deserve. Still little interest. Both are sweet, loving and ready to please we couldn't watch this happen. With a temp foster in tow, we took them in hopes of finding a permanent foster to help them thrive and work with them until the perfect family comes along. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. Eleanor is dog friendly and also really loves my cat. She is playful with the cat but respects his boundaries. She's about 6 months old and is a big goofy pup around 50-60 pounds (maybe pyr or shepherd mix). After a few days of settling in with me she was crate trained and she sleeps in the kennel and also is there while I'm at work. She's a pretty normal puppy doing awesome with potty training and knows outside is where she's supposed to go with only one or two accidents settling in. She doesn't quite know her size yet and thinks she's just great as a fluffy lap dog. She has shown some resource guarding with her food and around her kennel that is easily managed by separate feedings (tends to be best practice anyways). Her kennel is simply her safe place she prefers to have to herself. She walks fine on a leash and has been friendly with any and all new human strangers she has met coming into the home.
