She's a very sweet girl she just has a lot of energy and I'm not home very often I just feel bad because she needs to get out more and be able to be with someone who can keep up with her energy level. She is really good with other dogs and she is good with kids she does need some additional training with learning how to heal and learning how not to jump on people so it just basic manners but overall she's a very good girl.

Pilot and his sister Bria are set to arrive in Colorado around 1/30 They were found in Texas at a hoarder home along with 20 other dogs living in horrible conditions. They were rescued and had to fight for their lives right away. They are now healthy and thriving and will be ready for homes end of Jan These puppies are friendly, active and adorable! Meet Patunia! ******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you area not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Patunia is an spayed, 2.5 year old female Border Collie mix, currently weighing around 68lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX, and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is found. This big sweetie is the ultimate girl’s girl! She’ll be your biggest cheerleader for the wins and the losses, and will always agree that your girl math is 100% correct, especially if it involves some goodies for her too. Patunia is very affectionate and LOVES to snuggle and get kisses from her people! You’ll always find her near by and she is a huge fan of sleeping in your bed. Patunia is very gentle towards children, and enjoys having them as a cuddle/play mate. She is fearful of men, but adores women and children. She can be independent, but prefers her humans close by. Once Patunia forms an attachment to you, she’ll hug your legs and won’t let go. She is very playful and obsessed with all of the toys! She shares well with the resident dogs and humans too. She does prefer to dine solo however, so feeding away from others is recommended. Patunia is high energy, favoring dogs that can keep up with her. She is very friendly towards other dogs, and is excellent on picking up on their cues, especially when a dog isn’t interested in playing. Patunia is cat friendly with slow introductions. She is very curious about the resident kitties, and will follow them around. She may chase them to get them to play, so supervision is recommended. This good girl is very well trained on a leash, walking gently and calmly, and she is house and crate trained. She is only crated when unsupervised or left home alone for her own safety, as she can chew on random items. She has a little separation anxiety, but having another pup around helps her feel safe. Patunia will thrive in a home with a family or a single woman looking for a best friend! She just needs to have a close bond of friendship and love. She would also benefit from having another dog in the house that will play endlessly and help her feel safe. She would love a spacious back yard to help burn off her energy. We can’t wait for Patunia to find someone who will spoil her endlessly, because she deserves that and more! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. Indie loves to snuggle, take long sniffy walks, and play (but is still learning the retrieving part of fetch). She is food motivated, crate trained and eager to please. Indie is 48 lbs of goofy, sweet, friendly, occasionally anxious, and sometimes stubborn fluff who would love to meet you! She would do well in a home without young children as she can be excitable, but could love having another doggie friend in her life. She has been a gift to raise, but I am dealing with chronic health issues that have led me to be unable to provide Indie the consistent care that she deserves.

Meet Poppy, a perfectly fun-sized, silly girl! Poppy was found as a stray in New Mexico and brought in to a local shelter there. She spent 2 months waiting patiently for a home, but none came. We took Poppy days before her time would have been up, and brought her to Colorado for another chance! Poppy does the cutest zoomies around the yard and enjoys toys, snacks, and sticks! She is great on leash and would enjoy a hiking buddy or someone who takes long walks. She really likes playing with boy dogs, and does well with female dogs in a controlled introduction (walking together on leash for example). She's quiet in her kennel, and is potty trained.
