Story
Meet Benito – Your Happy-Go-Lucky Adventure Buddy! Basic Info: Name: Benito Breed: Border Collie / Australian Cattle Dog Mix Sex: Male DOB: April 10, 2022 Weight: 46 lbs Intake Date: April 9, 2024 Personality – Happy, Playful & Full of Zest: Benito is pure sunshine on four paws! Always ready to play, explore, or lean in for a pet, he’s got an infectiously joyful personality that will keep a smile on your face. He loves interactive games, running around the yard, and getting belly rubs. Benito thrives on connection and fun—he’s a dog who wants to be in the middle of the action and part of the family. With him, every day is a new adventure. Breed Information: As a mix of Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog, Benito is naturally intelligent, alert, and active. These working breeds are known for their stamina, loyalty, and sharp minds. Benito will benefit from regular physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep him balanced and happy. Puzzle toys, training sessions, and active play will help him shine. He’s eager to learn and eager to please! Owner Responsibilities: Provide daily exercise: walks, play, fetch, or dog sports Offer mental stimulation through training, puzzles, and games Use positive reinforcement training—Benito is smart and responsive Maintain regular veterinary care and vaccinations Ensure he’s part of the family, not left alone for long periods Provide structure, patience, and love Create a safe, indoor home environment Commitment for Life: Benito is not a short-term companion—he's a lifelong partner. Adopting him means committing to his care, well-being, and happiness for all of his days. He needs a family that understands that dogs are not disposable—they are forever. In return, Benito will give you loyalty, laughter, and love every single day. Do Not Leash Your Dog Outside Unattended: Benito should never be tied up or left outdoors alone. He needs companionship, safety, and interaction. Tethering a dog outside is not only dangerous but also deeply unfair to a social, intelligent dog like Benito. He deserves to be inside, where he can be close to his people and thrive. Why Adopt Benito? Because Benito brings joy wherever he goes. He’s playful without being overwhelming, smart without being stubborn, and affectionate without being clingy. He’s the perfect match for an active individual or family who wants a loyal sidekick with a big heart. Adopt Benito and experience the happiness of having a dog who truly loves life—and loves you. Story
Meet Arnold ! He is a young pup with a heart full of love and energy to spare. He’s a goofy, wiggly boy who is still very much a puppy, curious and always on the move. He has some classic herding dog tendencies, like gentle nipping at hands when he’s excited, but he’s learning how to be polite and respectful in the home. He is dog friendly! He’s a fast learner and will make an awesome companion for someone active and willing to give him a little guidance and consistency. He’s been sweet with everyone he’s met so far, though a bit shy at first. He can ignore other people and dogs very well and likes to just follow his person around. He loves pets and melts for belly scratches. Arnold and Bria came from a hoarding situation in Texas, where there were 20 other dogs living in very difficult conditions. After being rescued, he had to fight hard at the start but today he’s healthy and ready for a forever home. All POSO Dogs come with: - Spayed/Netuered - Basic Shots (age appropriate) - Fecal and tick disease testing - other medical concerns addressed before adoption - 2 Free one on one dog training sessions with a professional dog trainer - Training received in foster home - Basic things like some food, treats, leash and collar - PDFs of training material and local coupons and dog sitter recommendations

Story
Bruce is a 10-month-old puppy who’s funny, silly, and full of energy. He’s a little wild in a puppy way and absolutely loves being outside—running, exploring, and burning off energy. He would do best with someone who has a backyard and enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle like hiking or long walks. This isn’t a rushed rehoming. I care deeply about Bruce and am looking for the right fit, not just any home. He deserves someone who can give him space, time, and a lot of love.

Story
Fenrir, nicknamed Fen, is an almost 4 year old border collie mix. He’s a very dependent boy and will let you know when he needs attention. He’s very active and loves to play with everyone. I have never seen him show any aggression to other dogs or people. He tends to jump up onto people especially new faces. My hopes for his new home is for one with active family members and someone with more time to give him and more love than he knows what to do with.

Odin was adopted from Humane Colorado and is a high-energy, 5-year-old dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is very sweet, fully house-trained, and can be quite talkative at times, which only adds to his charm. Odin would thrive as the only dog in the home and is looking for an active person or family who can provide consistent daily walks and would enjoy taking him on hikes and adventures. Odin is a loyal and loving companion who is in search of a family who can match his needs.

Story
Hi! I'm Opal and I'm just under 5 years old. I have beautiful blue eyes that I get lots of compliments on. My favorite activity in the whole world is running and I would love to be someone's jogging companion, but I'm also content with a 30 minute walk daily and some yard time. I also enjoy curling up beside my humans on the couch and lounging outside in the sun. I get along well with most other dogs (particularly male dogs) and I have met a few cats and got along well with all but one of them. Other good attributes about me are that I'm completely potty trained (no accidents since I was a puppy!), I am not food aggressive, I don't shed a lot, and I sleep through the night happily. My owners are trying to re-home me because I am very scared of young children and they recently had a baby. I need to be placed in a home with children over the age of 10. My DNA test said I'm predominately Supermutt, Cattle Dog, and German Shorthaired Pointer.
