Story
Princess Tomboy here, are you curious about my unusual name? I totally understand, I’m curious about most things…let me tell you a little about myself! If I were a human, my sport would be rugby, I’m a rough and tumble girl with an active play style therefore I need another playful pup in my life (if you don’t have another dog and would consider adopting 2 check out Tuuli, she’s a real sweetheart, and we get along great in our Denver foster home; she even lets me take her toys). A fenced yard is high on my wish list as I love doing zoomies and chasing bunnies, birds, squirrels, etc. A fence helps keep me safe. I enjoy my walks and I’m learning my commands. One thing my foster mom was particularly proud of was when I picked up a chicken bone in the park, she told me to drop it, I did; this has happened twice now. Do you know how hard that is, they’re yummy. I have solid recall and walk well on leash, I’m making good progress stopping and waiting at corners and learning to sit. I love water and I’m sure hiking is something I would enjoy. I am young and need a home committed to continuing my training. I do have a snuggly side and love to curl up with my people and will sleep through the night. My wiggle butt involves my entire body when I see you. I’m such a happy girl! I know this is a lot, but I guess that’s the princess part of my name. I figure I have one shot at this forever home thing and I want to make sure it works for both of us. If I seem to be a good fit for you why wait please fill out the application and add a little joy to your life! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile love Princess Tomboy. If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##2732831##

Story
Rocco is such a fun pup! He will be such a great addition to a home. Rocco enjoys playing with other pups outside of the home and will benefit from playgroups or some visits to doggie daycare! He isn`t a fan of sharing his favorite food and toys with other dogs though, so Rocco is looking for a home where he will be the only animal. Come visit this handsome boy today!

Story
Brody is a handsome, fun-loving guy that has enthusiasm for every activity he`s involved in! He is looking for an active home with kids over the age of 10 that can participate in his training and care. Brody adores the company of other dogs and would love to find a home with a resident pup that he can pal around with. Brody spent a bit of his formative age in a shelter, so he`s still learning his manners and he`s looking forward to finding a family that wants to help him learn. If you`re a hiker, a runner, a camper, or just enjoy being outdoors and spoiling a dog rotten, Brody can`t wait to meet you!

Story
Piper's engaging and sweet nature is just waiting to be enjoyed and appreciated. She is such a wonderful being. We think she represents the best qualities of both the Border Collie and Chihuahua breeds. At just about 2 years old and 15 lbs, Piper is the perfect size for neighborhood walks (once comfortable in her environment), beautiful hikes in the Colorado mountains, car rides to dog-friendly destinations or fun backyard play. All would speak to Piper 's love of coming along and being with her family. She would love nothing more than to spend a day of play and walks followed by crashing on the couch for belly rubs and snuggles. Piper may be initially shy due to all the changes in her life. Once comfortable, she will become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please. The happier her family is with her behavior, the more Piper shines with her accomplishments. We would love to see this sweet girl in a home that includes her in family time and activities. She's loving and as sweet as can be and will thrive in a dog-loving and very nurturing environment. Piper will be a wonderful companion for active retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with an adorable fluffy pup. Our sweet girl will initially be reserved (after her experience at a scary shelter, she needs time and patience to come out of her shell) but some kind words, a loving hug and a yummy treat, and Piper falls deeply in love. Piper doesn't require another dog to be happy. She loves her people dearly and if they're attentive and loving, this sweet and loyal girl will be fulfilled and very happy. If a gentle dog is already part of the family, that's great with Piper as well. She enjoys her time spent in the company canines and that dog will become Piper's best friend. Piper will do well with any loving guardian who's invested in spending time with their pup. She's so pleasant and portable that she can be a part of any adventure. It can be a leisurely walk socializing with neighbors, a picnic in the park or a hike through Aspen trees. A car ride is also always great, especially if it leads to a fun, dog-loving spot. At day's end, a spot on the bed all night beside her favorite humans will speak to the loving nature of this little dog. Piper's Texas rescuer had the following to say about our sweet girl: Miss Piper is a one of a kind special girl. She is so full of sweet energy and is as happy as can be once she's comfortable in her environment. Miss P had a difficult start in life and is now understanding more each day that she's a wonderful being. I can see her self-esteem growing stronger and stronger each day. It's truly a joy to observe! Farfel's Rescue feels very strongly that every dog deserves the opportunity for formal, positive reinforcement / force-free training classes that are virtual or in-person. We therefore aren't willing to adopt Piper out to a home that doesn't choose to offer her this training opportunity. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved positive reinforcement / force-free virtual and in-person trainers in your area. Piper will be up to date on her vetting / vaccinations to be in line with our commitment to only adopting out healthy dogs. She has also been spayed to support our hopes for a euthanasia - free future in the canine population. The picture of Piper in no way shows the beauty of this little dog. We've requested additional photos and will update upon receipt. Piper will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Wednesday. 6/10/2026. Adoption applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and cuddly best friend. An app can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Piper, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Story
Luna is 4 years old. She was a Rescue puppy. Luna is a very sweet yet neurotic border collie. She loves to play fetch and unique sounds get her excited. She is an excellent listener but you have to know her potty routines and she will be great! My life circumstances don’t allow me to give her the time that she deserves. Looking for a loving home that she can get the attention she deserves. Luna has an older sister dog, Maizey, a heeler mix, that I’d like to have them adopted together, if possible.
