Story

Doss has been a great dog in our house and having to rehome him was a difficult decision for me and my family to come to. When he is alone, Doss is the sweetest most affectionate dog. The problem is, he is a cattle dog and acts as such. This does not go over well with our alpha German Shepard and they battle for the alpha spot, particularly when I am out of town for a couple days. We rescued Doss when he was a few months old and have had him for 5 years. He has two sisters, one is the forementioned shepard and the other is our one year old pitbull. He is a very good listener, easy to train and very smart. He is not food aggressive and is a free eater. He also gets along with our two barn cats. We've taken Doss camping with no other dogs and he was fantastic. It's important to note that Doss has NEVER been aggressive towards humans and has been around a lot of children. He is named after Desmond Doss, after the WWII Medal of Honor recipient.

Meet Milo! He is a ball of joy with nonstop happy puppy energy and a heart full of love. Milo is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and always on the move. He loves people, sunshine, toys, and playtime, and he’s having a blast learning from and playing with other dogs—especially when it comes to tug-of-war. Potty training is coming along well and is very age-appropriate: he’s mostly using pee pads or going outside, with a few accidents here and there. He’s doing great with kennel training too, settling down nicely after a brief protest. Overall, Milo approaches everything with curiosity and enthusiasm. He would do best in a home ready for puppy energy, continued training, and lots of affection. He’s a very sweet boy who’s ready to grow up loved. Milo is a 4-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Milo is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event.
