Meet Splenda: This adorable girl is so sweet. She will require some extra patience as it is obvious she was not cared for very well in her previous life. She has made her way to Colorado for a better life and all the love. She has been fostered with dogs of all sizes and has done well!

Sweet like her name, Splenda is a gentle and dainty 1-year-old Cattle Dog mix who’s just 31 pounds of pure love. She arrived as an unclaimed stray, and it’s clear she didn’t have much affection in her past — but she’s now learning what it truly means to be cared for and cherished in her foster home. She even sleeps quietly through the night and greets with gentle kisses now.
Splenda is a true dog’s dog who feels most confident and happy around other pups, big or small. She’s incredibly gentle, submissive, and sweet, and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog (or two!) to show her the ropes and share her days. She absolutely loves the company of other dogs and blossoms with canine companionship.
This lovely girl is potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. She knows how to use a dog door and enjoys a good mix of exploring, lounging in the sunshine, and following her people around to see what they’re up to. Every day she gains more confidence and learns that love is safe and good.
With her soft tail wags, sweet smile, and tender heart, Splenda is ready for a calm, loving forever home where patience and kindness will help her continue to bloom. She deserves cozy dog beds, gentle hands, and the warmth of true belonging — for the rest of her life. 🌸🐾

We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us!
We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications!
We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community!
