Timber is a lovable, fun, and energetic (sometimes) dog that loves walks, can join you for a run up to 7 miles, and will do anything you say for a treat. Timber was born and raised in Portland, OR. He is 11 years old with an October birthday! We love our boy, but need to find him a new home as we are in a new stage of life and don’t have the time to give T the attention and support he deserves. For Timber, we are looking for a home that has a yard for him to roam, sniff, and roll around. He is crate trained, but is happy as long as he has his bed. We are looking for new dog parents who like to go on walks and can give him all the petts he asks for. Timber is a very excited dog that has anxiety because of it and shakes when excitedHe acts like a chill old man most of the time and puts himself to bed early or naps under coffee tables/tables. Timber can sit, lay down, and knows the meaning of “bed” and “go potty”. He is also trained to not go upstairs or jump on furniture. He is the best.

Mac came to rescue as a puppy last summer with his three siblings, Dee, Dennis, and Charlie. All three of them were adopted promptly, but somehow Mac is still waiting for his turn. His siblings looked more like German Shepherd mixes, but Mac took a different direction. At just 36 lbs, he looks more like a Border Collie/Heeler mix and is a great medium size. Mac is a happy, easygoing boy who is very low maintenance and doesn't need constant attention or entertainment. He's great with other dogs and with cats and is perfectly content just being part of everyday life. After watching all three of his siblings leave for homes of their own, it's time for Mac to finally get his. Good fit: someone looking for a happy, easygoing, low-maintenance companion who gets along well with both dogs and cats. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Story
Alder is basically the dog version of an introvert. Quiet, gentle, low-key, and completely content doing his own thing, Alder is one of the easiest and lowest-maintenance dogs I have ever had in the rescue out of hundreds of dogs. He is around a year old and was originally labeled as a pit bull mix at the shelter when he was younger and still looked like a generic puppy. But now that he is older, it is very obvious that he is not a pittie and instead looks much more like a Border Collie mix. Alder is wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and also great with cats. He peacefully coexists with everyone but honestly doesn’t care much about joining the chaos or playing constantly. He prefers to quietly exist nearby and observe the world at his own pace. He is shy and hesitant with new people at first, but there is not an ounce of aggression in him. He is simply a soft, sensitive dog who takes a little time to feel comfortable. Once he settles in, Alder is incredibly easy to live with. He is not demanding, not hyper, not loud, and not needy. He is the type of dog who quietly becomes part of your daily life without bringing chaos into it. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, quiet, low-maintenance companion who does not need constant stimulation or activity to be happy. Bodie is a loyal, affectionate mini Aussie looking for a new family. I recently found out I'm allergic to his breed, so we're rehoming him. He listens well, learns quickly, has excellent recall, and loves to please. He's healthy, active, playful, and happiest snuggled up with his people. He lives with another dog and they get along great, and he's been wonderful with our kids. We live rurally, so he's had less socialization and will need time to adjust to new dogs and people. He's protective of our children and can be suspicious of strangers. He has strong herding instincts and will try to herd kids and dogs, but stops with redirection and consistent training. Like most Aussies, he has some separation anxiety. He whines for a while when left alone but settles down. The right home is an active family with patience for the adjustment period and ongoing training. Once he knows you, he's a devoted companion.
