Story
Nova is a sweetheart. I got him as a tiny puppy. Unfortunately he came to us with resource guarding issues, primarily with food and space (especially when he is laying down). He still struggles with these issues, just not quite as bad. After my eldest dog (the alpha) passed away, my middle dog fell into a bad deep depression. During this time, Nova began to attack my middle dog. This was a surprise as they used to play and cuddle 24/7. I was told this just happens sometimes when a younger dog will attack a sick older dog to "claim alpha". He has never bitten another dog, although we were very careful to not get him too close to other dogs. I would say no other dogs would be the best for him. We have never had him around any other animals. Hes great with people and older kids. He is a bit uneasy with young kids. We have a young child and I am just very nervous due to his history and he just isnt getting the life he deserves anymore. He is a cuddle bug lover. He deserves the BEST home!

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ♠️🐶 Meet Ace — Small Pup, Big Energy, Winning Personality 🐶♠️ Ace is a 3-month-old baby boy (DOB: 11/5/25) who came into this world ready to win hearts and steal socks. His mom is a Border Collie/Heeler mix, which means Ace is set up to be smart, active, and the perfect medium size — built for adventures by day and couch snuggles by night. Ace is a classic puppy through and through: zoomies at random intervals, toys that must be conquered, and a tail that never stops wagging. He brings the butt wiggles, puppy kisses, and those laugh-out-loud moments that make puppyhood so magical (even when you’re dodging those tiny shark teeth). 🐾 Ace’s Puppy Perks: ♠️ 3 months old and growing fast ♠️ Expected medium size when full grown ♠️ Playful, confident, and full of puppy joy ♠️ With proper socialization, should do great with dogs, cats, and kids ♠️ Smart, curious, and eager to learn ♠️ Comes fully equipped with sharp little teeth and ninja nails (standard puppy package 😄) Ace is looking for a family ready to embrace all the fun and chaos of puppy life — the training, the adventures, the laughs, and the lifelong bond. In return, he promises loyalty, love, and a lifetime of unforgettable memories. ✨ If you’re ready to add a winning hand to your family, Ace is ready to play. Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let the puppy fun begin! 🐾💙

Story
Meet Sedona!   Sedona has an interesting story coming to rescue. The shelter she was in thought she maybe pregnant due to her round belly so Saap stepped in and found her a foster prepared to birth a litter. After a couple weeks of unlimited food, Sedona may have gained a food belly but upon further examination, was not pregnant so another foster took over so a true pregnant dog could be brought into rescue.    In her new foster home, Sedona met even more pets proving her love for other animals and especially her dog friends that will play with her. She was sent in for her spay appointment and found to be heartworm positive. This is a non-contagious illness spread by mosquitos. The treatment requires 30 days of strict rest, antibiotics and steroids. As a previous heartworm positive dog, Sedona cannot attend regular events and has to meet privately. We ensure you know all about heartworm, her recheck needs, and the need to stay on preventative (like all dogs should). Now that she's past treatment, Sedona is really looking for a family to call her own.    Sedona is excellent with dogs and reccomended to have a dog in the home if you have a fenced yard or she needs your human company outside. Bottom line, she doesn't like to go out alone. If you're already leash walking, obviously this won't be an issue. She is housebroken and crate trained.    Sedona loves toys and is an expert level stuffie destroyer. She also enjoys chews and her favorite are bentobones or similar options that have a chew in a round ball like toy that replacements can be bought for. They keep her really busy in her crate.    Sedona LOVES food. Her goal is to be an overweight gal, so her food and treats do need monitored. She won't be a dog that can be free fed as she simply doesn't stop. She's at a decent weight now and should stay around the 25lb range permanently.  (She had snacked her way to 30lbs when we thought she was pregnant).   Finally, Sedona is what I would call an aggressive snuggler. She makes sure you pay attention to her and loves to be close to you, get pets, and curl up on your lap.    Overall, this girl has a lot to offer:   Great with animals Great with kids Playful but also knows how to settle and snuggle Food and toy motivated Housebroken  Crate Trained  Smaller breed mix at 25lbs.   Apply to meet this sweetie today!! January 16, 2026, 1:41 pm

Story
Brody has the cutest Jack Russell–style face, weighs 36 lbs, and has the softest ears ever.  He may be just a tiny bit shy at first, but he warms up in seconds and is absolutely ready for your love. Once he’s comfortable, he’s all about cuddles, pets, and being close to his people.  &#226&#156&#148 Calm & past the puppy stage &#226&#156&#148 Walks well on leash &#226&#156&#148 Crate trained (sleeps like an angel) &#226&#156&#148 Almost fully housebroken &#226&#156&#148 Quick learner &#226&#156&#148 Gentle, loving, and incredibly kind After nearly a year in the shelter, it’s amazing how sweet and trusting this boy still is. He truly deserves a cozy couch and a forever family.  February 4, 2026, 6:14 pm
