He has a wonderful balance of energy and calmness—always ready for a game of fetch, but just as happy to relax and spend time with his favorite people. This handsome guy never met a toy he didn't like, but fetch is definitely one of his favorite activities. If you've got a ball to throw, Elvis is ready for the job! When playtime is over, he loves scratches on his hips and lower tummy and will gladly soak up all the affection you can give. Elvis came from a farm and would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of attention, love, and opportunities to stay active. He's an incredibly sweet dog who loves being part of the family and would make an amazing companion for adventures, backyard games, and cozy evenings at home. He gets along well with cats too, although he may occasionally try to convince them to play like they're fellow dogs! "She ran calling "WILD.....FIRE"!! That is a haunting song.... I promise, though..I am not a HAUNTER!! But I may love to run around and around and AROUND :) I am a puppy! I am so sweet and cuddly, when i finish running around ;) I have plenty of energy so you HAVE to be ready to burn it off with mental and physical exercise. I am SMART too! Teach me who you want me to be and I will learn! I was found with 4 siblings living (dumped) at the Home Depot...but it was a LUCKY BREAK, cause we were seen by the husband of a rescuer and we got SAVED! Now I am in my foster home and learning the "ropes" ;) Potty training is getting better every day, I mean our foster mom takes us out often for potty control and I am really working hard to wait for the next jaunt outside! I also am crate training too! I don't like to pee or poop where I sleep- as long as I don't eat right before bed and go outside as soon as I wake up I am doing great!! Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business.
