Meet Portland! Portland is a 4-year-old, 52-pound Australian Cattle Dog and Border Collie mix with a perfect blend of intelligence, energy, and goofy charm. He loves being part of the action and is happiest when he’s included in his people’s daily activities.
Extremely loyal and affectionate, Portland enjoys spending time with his humans—whether that means chasing a frisbee or lounging the day away by your side. He is fully house-trained and sleeps comfortably in his crate at night. His favorite treats include peanut butter-filled Kongs and Whimzees.
Portland is looking for a home where he can thrive. He does best in an environment without small children or other dogs, where he can have his own space and feel safe. He may need a little time to warm up to new people, but with patience and consistency, his playful and loving personality shines through.
An ideal home for Portland would be one that matches his energy and enthusiasm for life. He would thrive with an active person or family who enjoys playtime, outdoor adventures, and the occasional well-earned nap.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
