Please note that we are a TX based rescue. We transport our dogs to new homes once adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi, I’m Paw Newman! 🐾💙 That’s right — Paw Newman, like the famous actor, except I’m way better at fetch and I don’t need a stunt double for my zoomies. I was born on March 18th under a porch like a true stray superstar. Mom was a single paw-rent, and things got ruff when animal control scooped us up and dropped us at a shelter on the Texas-Mexico border. They had no room at the inn, so I was on the fast track to the big kennel in the sky… until my rescuers pulled me just in the nick of time. Talk about a pawsitive plot twist! I’m a Border Collie x Blue Heeler mix, which basically means I’m genetically programmed to be brilliant, athletic, and ridiculously good-looking. I’ve got these stunning blue eyes that make humans melt (hence the movie-star name), and a sleek black-and-white speckled coat that screams “I’m fancy but I still like to roll in dirt.” Everyone says I’m going to be a medium-sized hunk when I grow up — energetic enough to keep up on adventures, but surprisingly mellow for a herding breed. I’m not out here trying to herd the vacuum 24/7… I save my energy for important things like treats and belly rubs. I love playtime, snuggles, learning tricks, and giving the most enthusiastic kisses in the biz. Basically, I’m equal parts “smart working dog” and “professional couch potato in training.” If you’re looking for a loyal, hilarious, blue-eyed best friend who’ll make your life paw-some and your Instagram way cuter, I’m your guy. I promise I won’t judge your dance moves if you don’t judge my occasional zoomie-induced chaos. So… ready to adopt your leading man? Let’s make this tail a comedy instead of a tragedy! 💙

Please note that we are a TX based rescue. We transport our dogs to new homes once adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hey there, I'm the big man of the litter! 🐾 My name is Cowboy, and I came into this world on March 18, 2026, under a porch at an apartment complex right on the Texas/Mexico border. My mama was a friendly stray who clearly knew how to find cozy spots and sweet humans. Somehow my siblings and I ended up at a rural shelter that was sadly running out of space. Things were looking pretty rough until these amazing people stepped in and gave us a second chance. I'm the biggest, chunkiest dude in my crew — a solid mix of Australian Cattle Dog and Border Collie energy. That means I've got the brains, the drive, the athleticism, and the zoomies to match. I'm super smart, always watching and learning, and I’m incredibly people-oriented. If you’re in the room, I want to be right there with you — preferably leaning on your leg, staring into your eyes, or figuring out how to get you to play fetch or tug. I may still be a puppy, but I’ve got the build of a future adventure buddy. Strong legs, a serious “let’s go explore” attitude, and a whole lot of love to give. Whether it’s hiking, running around the yard, learning new tricks, or just chilling on the couch after a big day of being awesome, I’m all in. I went from “born under a porch, almost out of time” to “ready to be your loyal shadow and best friend.” If you’re looking for a smart, athletic, chunky little lovebug who’s going to bond hard and keep you laughing, I’m your guy. Ready to bring this border-heeler home? I promise I’ll make it the best decision you’ve ever made. ❤️

Yes, like the dance floor. And yes… I live up to the name.** ✨ I may be the runt of my litter, but don’t let that fool you—I’ve got the biggest personality in the room. I was born on March 18, 2026, near the Texas/Mexico border, and while my start in life was a little humble, I’ve decided I’m here to bring the party. **Here’s what you need to know about me:** • **Tiny but Mighty** – small package, BIG energy and confidence • **People Person (Dog?)** – I LOVE humans. Like, a lot. You’re my favorite thing. • **Joy Machine** – I wake up happy, stay happy, and spread it everywhere • **Confident Queen** – new places? new friends? I’m already on it • **Playful + Sweet** – I bring the fun *and* the cuddles I’m the kind of puppy who runs toward life, not away from it. I’m curious, brave, and always ready to make a new best friend (especially if you have snacks… just saying). Even though I’m the smallest, I promise I’ll take up the biggest space in your heart. I’ve got that special spark—the kind that makes every day a little brighter, a little sillier, and a lot more fun. If you’re looking for a confident, loving, joyful sidekick who will keep life interesting and your heart full… I’m your girl. Let’s dance 💃🐾 —Disco

Please note that we are a TX based rescue. We transport our dogs to new homes once adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi… I’m the quiet one with the really pretty eyes. 💙 I was born on March 18, 2026, under a porch at an apartment complex near the Texas/Mexico border. My mama is a stray, but she’s really sweet with people—so I guess I come by it honestly. We ended up at a rural shelter, and things got a little scary there… but I got my second chance, and now I’m ready to find my person. I’m believed to be an Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix, which sounds impressive (and probably explains my thoughtful, observant personality). I’m a little shy at first—but give me a minute, and you’ll see just how gentle and loving I am. Here’s what makes me… me: • Soft-Hearted Sweet Girl – I may be quiet, but I love deeply • Beautiful Blue-Eyed Observer – I like to take everything in before jumping in • Medium Energy – I enjoy playtime, but I’m not over-the-top • Dog-Friendly – I get along well with other pups • Human-Curious – I want to trust, and once I do, I’ll be your little shadow I’m the kind of puppy who bonds closely with “my person.” I might not be the loudest or boldest in the room, but I’m the one who will sit beside you, look up at you with those eyes, and make you feel like the most important person in the world. I just need someone patient and kind who will help me build my confidence and show me how safe and good life can be. If you’re looking for a gentle, soulful, quietly loving best friend… I’ve been waiting for you. —Your shy girl 🐾

Please note that we are a TX based rescue. We transport our dogs to new homes once adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi, I’m Buckaroo! 🐾 That’s right — the tiniest tornado of love in the whole litter! I’m the smallest male but I make up for it by being the biggest lover. While my brother Paw Newman was off winning the blue-eyed beauty contest, I was busy perfecting my world-class snuggle game and perfecting the art of making humans fall in love with me. I’m a Border Collie x Blue Heeler mix, born March 18th under a porch with my stray mom. Things got ruff real quick — animal control picked us up, the shelter was full, and we were scheduled to be euthanized the same day. Luckily my rescuers showed up and gave us a second chance at life! Even though I don’t have those flashy movie-star blue eyes like some of my siblings, I’ve got the best personality in the bunch. I’m the most social puppy — I love everyone, I’m always ready to make new friends, and I give the absolute best cuddles. You need a lap warmer? Professional snuggle buddy? Emotional support goofball? I’m your guy. I’m going to grow up to be a medium-sized athletic boy, but don’t let my small stature fool you — I’ve got plenty of zoomies and personality to go around. I’m sweet, silly, and ridiculously affectionate. My favorite activities include belly rubs, following my people everywhere, and being the official welcome committee. If you’re looking for a dog who will greet you like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened every single time you walk through the door, I’m the one for you. I may be the smallest, but my love is extra large.

Story
We're looking for a home for our rescue puppy, Russell! He was found as a stray originally and no owner came toward so we adopted him. I thought I was ready for another dog after our German shepherd passed away, but I'm not and he deserves someone that is. He is approximately 8 months old and weighs around 60-65 pounds. He has been neutered, is up to date on shots, and kept on monthly heartworm prevention. He is great with other dogs, cats, children of all ages, and is just all around an absolute sweetheart. He listens really well and does amazing off leash since we have a small farm (He already knows the property line). He's also great with our chickens and pigs and has never shown an ounce of aggression to anyone or thing. He is doing great with house training and will let you know when he needs to go out (still has accidents every now and then but these are becoming less and less). He is a typical puppy and is a chewer when left alone, and does best crated, though he's not a fan lol
