Story
We are seeking a loving home for our wonderful 4 yr.old male pure breed border collie, Alfie. Alfie is a bundle of joy and energy. He thrives on interaction and is always ready for a game of fetch or a playful romp with the neighborhood dogs and kids. His friendly personality makes him a delightful addition to any family. To ensure Alfie gets the exercise and playtime he needs, we recommend a home with a large fenced yard where he can run freely and safely. While he is well-trained in the house, he prefers not to be on a leash, so a spacious area where he can explore is essential. Please note that Alfie is not good with cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal. Alfie is perfect for active families who can match his energy levels and provide him with plenty of opportunities to play. While he plays wonderfully with neighbor kids, he has never lived with children before, so a gradual introduction would be beneficial. He is well trained, crate trained and is up to date on vaccinations.

Story
Space is a 9 month old medium size dog. She loves other dogs and has done well with cats. Space needs a special adopter that will give her time to realize people aren’t so scary. She has made a TON of progress at her foster home but is still very timid at times. She gets SO excited to see you after work but still only wants to be pet on her own terms. She will do best in a home with no children, another dog to help build her confidence, and her own yard, as she is not leash trained. She is very fearful of the leash, leading us to believe she may have had a traumatic experience involving a leash before coming to HART. This dog absolutely loves to be comfy. All she wants is a comfortable bed or to curl up by your feet on the couch. If you’re looking for a playmate for your dog that does not beg for constant attention or a friend to keep your dog busy while you’re at work, Space could be a great choice for you. If interested in meeting Space please fill out an application at www.rescueahart.org!

Story
Meet Goose! He is a 6 year old border collie pitt mix, as is the sweetest boy in the whole world, loves walks, playing with his toys, cheese, and LOVES to cuddle! I adopted Goose in 2023 where he lived in a single pet household. Recently I have had to move back in with my parents and their 2 dogs and cats. Unfortunately, Goose does not get along with other animals as we have had an altercation between him and our other dog. He is currently separated from the other animals in the house and his living situation is not fair to him He truly is the sweetest dog you could ask for, completely house broken, and very easy going. He is best suited for a single animal household with a yard, as he loves to run. Having to rehome him is heart breaking as I love him so much, but I want him to have the best quality of life possible!

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Sterling - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Sterling, hey, hey all you fabulous folks out there, that's 'lil' ole me! I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I am very shy at first meet but given some time and patience, I start to come out of my shell and show my sweet loving nature. Me and my siblings were part of an accidental litter. We have not had much socialization and will need a family to introduce us to all the great things in this big ole world. I am that proverbial lump of clay to be molded with gentle hands and kind words into your bestest family member. I am still a baby yet at only 4 months and should probably be around the 50-60lb area when I get myself fully growed up. I am so looking forward to learning...everything! I would love to be your lil sidekick on ALL your adventures. Once I'm comfortable I do great with people even the smaller versions. I also do great with other pups but I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat. If introduced properly at my young age I should do OK with them too. I would probably do best with a mentor 'sibling' to help show me the ropes in being a great family member. I would probably also do best in a home where my person is there a lot to spend extra time with me. I am soooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness (and I know it's in here) on my new family so if you think I could be a perfect fit for your home and lifestyle please just stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application. You can find it at haydudeequine.org These adorable siblings include - Sterling, Hollywood, Dallas and Dakota

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Can I get a whoo-whooo?! 🎉 (cue the confetti) Because there's a new pup in town and his name is Huck! Hey all you fabulous people—yep, I’m talkin’ about me! I'm here hoping to find something I’ve never had before… a family of my very own. I’ve heard all about them, and they sound pretty amazing. So, if you’re reading this… maybe you're meant to be mine? I came from an accidental litter and spent my whole puppyhood in a shelter. It wasn’t the ideal start, but I’ve kept my tail wagging and my heart open. I'm super social, always happy, and excited to greet every new day with a smile (and a bounce!). At around 5 months old and about 30 lbs, I’m expected to grow into the perfect medium-sized companion. I’m affectionate, playful, curious, and full of puppy enthusiasm. Whether it’s learning something new, going on an adventure, or snuggling on the couch—I’m so here for it all. I do great with people of all ages and absolutely love romping with the other dogs in my foster home. I haven’t met any of those mysterious “cats” yet, but with a proper intro, I’d probably do just fine. - Adorable? Check. - Playful and sweet? Double check. - Loyal sidekick in the making? Oh, you bet. So if you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky pup who’s ready to fill your life with joy, love, and laughter—I’m your guy! Just stop scrolling and head over to fill out my adoption application. Apply now at haydudeequine.org – I’ll be waiting with tail wags and puppy kisses!
