Story
Hello, future family! I'm Daisy Mae, a large and lovable black dog with a heart as vast as my midnight-hued coat. I've been patiently waiting for 507 days to find my forever home, and I believe this Christmas could be the one where I finally get to spend my days surrounded by love and warmth. About Me:I'm a gentle giant, known for my soulful eyes and an unwavering spirit. Typical to my shepherd lineage I can be wary of strangers, but, once I know, you are my person I love with my whole being. Despite my 507 days spent at the shelter, I've never lost hope that the right family will come along and see the joy I can bring to their lives. I'm well-behaved, house-trained, and ready to share my love with someone special. My Christmas Wish List:To make my time at the shelter brighter, I've curated an Amazon wish list filled with items that would add a touch of festive cheer to my days. If you're feeling extra generous this holiday season, consider checking out my list and making my Christmas dreams come true. It's not just about the gifts; it's about the love and thoughtfulness behind them. https://a.co/fH47PqL How You Can Help:If you're not in a position to adopt right now, you can still be a part of my journey by contributing to my Amazon wish list or sharing my story. Your kindness could make this Christmas one to remember.  Adoption Details:Ready to make my dreams come true? Just fill out the no obligation, application to schedule a meet-and-greet.  ##1560455##

Story
Mikka is a 40 lb, spunky Border Collie mix. This girl is really loving life. She is a very sweet girl, but is a bit insecure(aren't we all). Mika would thrive with people that will help her learn and feel secure in the world. She enjoys meeting new people, going on car rides, and LOVES spending time outdoors. She loves her morning walks and has a favorite ball that we play fetch with in the yard. Mikka is super smart and catches on to new things quickly. She knows sit, down, to wait to come out of her crate before you say okay and listens super well when you ask her to crate up. She does okay with other dogs but is definitely on the defensive till she gets comfortable, She'd thrive the most as an only child. She needs an active family that will keep both her mind and body stimulated. She is slowly learning to be a great cuddler. Mikka is a very sweet girl and would be a great companion, she will love you with all her heart. She has a lot of herding instincts and would be great for working/sports/competition. She is also very fast. If you are looking to a buddy that’s always ready to go look no further than Mikka. To adopt Mikka, please apply at www.htxdogrescue.org.

Hi, I'm Bronze ! I'm a happy go-lucky pup with lots of joyful energy to share. I have 3 legs, but that does not slow be down one bit! I get the zoomies just like any other pup and I can be just as fast as them! I love giving kisses and getting my pets. On the nice sunny days I'm all about laying out in the sun to soak in some Vitamin D. I’m currently in a foster home while looking for my loving forever home. Story
WHAT AN INNOCENT FACE! Est DOB 12/22/23, weight 50 pounds Hey there, everyone! I’m Milo, and I’m a sweet, happy, playful black Labrador/ Cattle Dog mix fella with a splash of white on my nose and on my chest. I’ve got the prick ears of a Cattle Dog, but my solid black coat and lanky build indicate my Lab heritage. I’m one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet because I love everyone, and of course, everyone loves me back. Could it be because of the always-innocent expression on my face? One of my favorite things to do is fall asleep on top of Foster Mom. True confessions: I snore a bit! I’m smart as a whip, and because I’m very food-motivated, treats have helped me to pick up a few commands very quickly. I have lots of puppy energy, so I love to horse around with the resident dogs in my foster home but I also love to go to Doggy Day Care where I get along with everybody! I’m curious about the cats, but I haven’t been allowed to meet them yet. Thank heavens Foster Mom rescued me as a stray who was wandering her neighborhood with no collar, tags, or chip. Now I’m ready to find my forever home, and I can’t wait! Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me, and I promise to cover your face with mushy puppy kisses. For more pictures and videos of Milo, check out his online Google photo album here, https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1z0An3pJ38v_-sXvYKHxbDld39XQMI9vH HOPE ID: D24-0928-0037 If you are interested in Milo and would like to fill out a Dog Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com and a volunteer will get back to you.

Story
Echo is a sweet approximately 15 months old pup, who was rescued from a high kill Animal Shelter of Texas, where she spent a long time cooped up. She got lucky due to her sweet disposition. She was a shelter favorite. Echo is a very sweet and calm girl who loves her humans. She lives with both dogs and cats, and usually does not bother them as she is velcro and finds her humans to follow. She would do good as an only pet, getting all the attention and affection. She is laidback and obedient. She is also highly trainable as she is a quick learner. A home with a fully fenced yard would be mandatory for her, as well as a family who can dedicate time, patience and love. Echo is currently about 50 pounds. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Her adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness, leash, and Interstate Health Certificate for our out of state adopters. Sweet Echo is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. To meet this gorgeous girl via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, and the ones who are taken to our shelters, where they are euthanized if they are not rescued or adopted. By adopting one of our pups, you are actually saving two lives - the one they adopt, the one who takes their space in the foster home.
